I need some help/advice for tomorrow

I need some input/help as to what I am going to say and ask when the adult forum at my local church (ELCA) invites a local imam to speak.

"A few weeks ago the 7th grade Confirmation class and their parents visited the the Islamic Institute of Minnesota--Al-Salam Mosque in Maplewood. The gentleman who spoke to the group was so informative that it was suggested that he speak during the Adult Education time this Sunday. Samir Saikali, acting Imam will be speaking on “What Everyone Should Know About Islam and Muslims.” It will be a presentation of basic Islamic beliefs, worldview, and practices, plus time for questions and answers. Join him in the Fireside Room at 9:30 for this very informative discussion."

I'm well aware of creeping Sharia Law, honor killings and the stoning of females in Islam.

What else can my fellow Christians and FReepers arm me with for a confrontation with this man tomorrow?

Limit your replies to hard facts. I don't have time to sort out the funny stuff. As we all are wont to do...

Ask him if he will condemn Hamas as a terrorist organization? If he hems and haws that means he will not. The first question will be very self revealing and will set the tone for the rest of the Q and A.

Ask him if he believes in a theory of interpretation of the koran called abrogation? If he hems and haws he probably knows what your getting at i.e., the 9th Sura. BTW, don’t let him get away with that “jihad is an inner struggle” BS.

Ask him whatis the sharia punishment for adultery or fornication- refer him to Bukhari 2/414 and 8/803-806 and Muslim 4207- ask him if he tries to evade it if what Mohammad did is part of sharia law? Muslims are told in the Quran to obey Mohammad (suras 3:32, 8:20)
Then read to the congregation from John ch 8:1-11 and ask them and the Imam if Islam honours and follows Jesus!

How they got away with taking the kids to the mosque might be simply a matter of it being a small group of naive folks being stupid and therefore no controversy.

Putting the guy’s impending Sunday School class visit in the bulletin publicized it enough it wouldn’t be a friendly little do-good smarmy kumbahya group-hug presentation but instead a who’s gonna show up and tell not only the informative guest-speaker but also the clueless folks arranging this that WHEN THESE FOLKS GET DONE WITH US WE’LL ALL BE KILLED OR WEARING BURKAHS / SHOVING OUR [RUMPS] IN THE AIR PRETENDING TO PRAY TO THE DEMON MASQUERADING AS THEIR “god”. As someone’s tagline goes here on FR, they don’t want our friendship, they want our submission.

Anyway, if they’re smart, the folks organizing this will cancel, otherwise, it could turn in to a huge confrontational mess if folks who don’t have their heads buried in the sand (that’s the polite way of saying it), er, show up to, er, participate in this travesty.

The visonaries seeing freedom stripped away from mankind by what I hear phrased as “creeping shariah law” or some such could be right. If it happens, how will the Gospel be preached? How will folks find their way to the One Who saves souls? As in:

Shine, Jesus, shine, fill this land with the Father’s glory, blaze, Spirit, blaze, set our hearts on fire, flow, river, flow, flood the nations with grace and mercy, send forth Your Word, Lord, and let there be light.

I really mean it when I say, Lord, have mercy!
