Sometimes it seems that all some people see is Catholics pointing to Mary when if they'd look just past that to who we're really pointing at they'd see Jesus.
Like with the pope, we may be pointing to him but that's because he's pointing to Jesus. To bring this discussion back around to original post: "The Pope proclaimed the God who alone can satisfy the hunger of every human heart, the One who is fully revealed in Jesus Christ - who continues His redemptive mission through the Church which is His Body."
It's a message worth delivering and worth hearing. The secularists understood what he was saying, it's depressing that people who claim to follow Christ can't figure it out.

What a wonderful last few days! That his trip turned out like this is not at all surprising.
Thye Blessed are in heaven with Christ and form part of His Mystical Body. The intercession of saints is in Christ and not apart from him. The saints are not separate gods. Jesus is the one divine mediator, being both God and man, and the saints are but ways to Him. Also, you should be ashamed of your calumny against Our Lady, who was born and preserved from taint of original sin in anticipation by the merits of Christ's passion. I understand herr Luther had a strong devotion to Our Lady, but that seems to have disappeared somewhere along the way among you die hard Protestants.

There’s no mystery to salvation. The Catholic church mystifies it to ensure the church’s power. A Catholic must rely on the church for salvation.
Mary was nothing more than a flesh and blood woman born into sin and who died a non-virgin. She doesn’t have anymore power than the keyboard I used to type this reply. The saints have even less power, like my USB flashdrive.

You sure sound Protestant to me, so I can’t imagine what other confession you might be, but sorry if I misstated it. The Church provides a clear roadmap of sacramental grace established by Christ for the benefit of all subsequent generations. It may be possible to obtain salvation outside the visible Church through following the law of God written in one’s heart, but it’s a much more murky thing. Best to tread the clear and narrow path to Heaven marked out clearly by our Savior. It’s not a question that one “must rely on the church” for salvation. The Church and her sacraments, instituted by Christ, are a clear means of receiving God’s grace to rely on Christ for one’s salvation.
I doubt grammar was their purpose or main thought.
