Can Non-Catholics Be Saved?

The answer is yes. I bet even some Catholics can be saved, too.

Okay: time for the heavy artillery:

First, after he created all things, Allah created Man. He made a Turk.

Then he made another man: a Greek.

The Greek and the Turk fought, and the Greek won. Allah was distressed. He thought and thought.

Then he made another Greek. The two Greeks fought each other until they were too weak to resist the Turk, who whipped them both.

(With apologies to Kazantzakis.)

So are you going to give me more, uh, potty language, or am I going to get some elucidation here or what? I got more stories where that once came from ....

U-2012>I use the First Century for interpretation.
I consider nothing after the book of Revelation.

There is absolutely no reason to believe that a single person had even seen the totality of what we know as the New Testament in the first century and it is certain that many in the first century would have been reading what the Church later rejected from the canon of Scripture.

What they were reading in the first century was the Holy Word of G-d.

The Tanach, Yah'shua preached from Deuteronomy and Isaiah and ....

Paul and Peter and Jude and James all preached from the Tanach !

You are right that the Roman "church" rejected
the Holy Word of G-d: the Tanach and Yah'shua the Jewish Messiah
and soon returning King, the living Word of G-d.

Jesus read scripture aloud to the people in the Temple. We are just following his tradition and example. We follow along in our missals.

“What precisely is the “world to come” where sins are forgiven? There is no forgiveness in Hell, in Heaven everything has already been forgiven.”

You answered your own question. There is not forgiveness for blasphemy against the Holy Spirit. Not here, not there, not anywhere!

“Where is the “non-scriptural place” where man shall be saved “as by fire”?”

As is painfully clear if you read the entire chapter, Paul is saying that those who build the Church need to take care to do it well, since fire will reveal - make manifest - the quality of each man’s work. The man will still be saved, even if he builds poorly, but he will not receive the reward of one who builds well. It has nothing to do with Purgatory, and even the footnotes to the NAB agree Purgatory was NOT in the writer’s mind!

The Deutero-Canonical books were rejected by all because they were not written by prophets nor cited.

Uriel writes from the New-Age Messianic Judaic / Kabbalah point of view, not the Protestant point of view. As a matter of fact he disagrees with mainstream Protestants since they are part of the same mistakes perpetuated by Pope Constantine, the Pontifex Max who created The Church. Uriel's point of view is that he/she is against this. What he is FOR, or which group he belongs to, is a mystery.

He means that he is wise enough to understand all the words in the Bible all by himself.

Because Saint Paul only spoke of him in the past tense.

I NEVER said that the Old Testament didn't exist in the first century, I said the NEW TESTAMENT. Your original statement was that you didn't consider anything after Revelation, this DID NOT exist for first century Christians.

You are right that the Roman "church" rejected the Holy Word of G-d: the Tanach and Yah'shua the Jewish Messiah and soon returning King, the living Word of G-d.

By "Roman Church" you of course mean what the rest of the world considers CHRISTIANITY because in addition to Catholics nearly all Protestants also know that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and the Second Person of the Holy Trinity, something which you reject

Perhaps, YOU should make clear to the readers that when you reject the "Roman Church" you also reject the beliefs of hundreds of millions of Lutherans, Calvinists, Anglicans, Methodists and Baptists.

I am commended to proke the wad. When you are responsible for your silver spoon nation, that is for you to wash out the stains of the Liberian bullfrog arrow. I am commended to proke the wad.

Unam Sanctam is the sort of document that gives our Protestant brothers and sisters a real jolt

I am not Catholic, so it doesn't bother me. Catholics can believe anything they want.

There will be no wad proking on MY nickel! Honestly, I must draw the line at wad proking!

Bullfrog arrows, that's another thing altogether, and I understand the Liberians produce the bulliest and froggiest of arrows.

But wad proking? Never! I have my pride, sir.

If the shed hood of the car covers all of our selves,
why do we need to go to some covered place ?

How do you read the parable in Bill&Ted 2: 87 - 14

All those who refuse to put the righteousness of Bill
will be put into the outer darkness in that place there
will be weeping and gnashing of teeth sayeth Jeeves to Wooster.

As many are called but few answer the ring.

Why do you assume Onesiphorus was dead?

Excellent question !
Onesiphoros, literally, “profit bringer”

household of Onesiphorus — If he were dead at the time, the “household” would not have been called “the household of Onesiphorus.” He was probably absent (see on 2 Timothy 1:16).

More Eisegesis fails.
