Life and certainly these times are extremely complex.

It can take a lot of conjecture and speculation just to keep one’s nose above water sometimes. That is, just to make SOME sense out of major chunks of reality these days takes a LOT of prayerful pondering.

I don’t know anyone who even convincingly pretends to have very much all figured out these days. If they try to pretend they have it all figured out—THEY ARE THE EMBARRASSING LAUGHABLE ONES. IF THEY TRY TO PRETEND LIFE IS CONVENTIONAL BUSINESS AS USUAL—THEY ARE the extremely deluded and pathetically laughable.

The verse assignments in the New Testament were made in the Sixteenth century by a Protestant scholar named William Whittingham. It follows that they are a modern imposition on the text and can have no doctrinal significance whatsoever.

I think of him as a precursor to the true AC, BUT if the world economy and other factors cause havoc among the nations, who knows what can happen? People could start looking up to him to solve their problems. Satan would have to enter him at that point to make him look a lot better than he is. It’s interesting anyway.

There are certain things that have to take place before He comes and we are told to be watchmen and to be aware of the happenings as they occur. I would especially be aware of what’s going on in Israel, since that’s the lynchpin of prophecy concerning the End Times. We are not to fear these and we are to keep our eyes fastened on Jesus our Messiah.
