Reading “The Copper Scroll” right now. I also saw a recent e-mail of his that links to a New York Times article—with a link to the Gateway Bible Online and the pertinent verse in Revelation (NY Times linked it— regarding the fact that the Euphrates River is drying up. He was pretty surprised that the Times would actually acknowledge this bit of prophecy possibly being fulfilled.
To that I say, Even so, come quickly, Lord Jesus! And I say this without shame for was my eyes are looking up for my Savior, I am ever mindful of the “season”, and I believe the we WILL know the season as was promised.

I actually have always read prophecy in Scripture with America missing from the picture. I don’t see “us” in there at all. From my studies, I believe that we will not be one of the main players in the end days, as we will no longer be a superpower. If we ARE involved, it will NOT be as the “good guys”.
Scripture says all the nations of the earth will ally against Israel. Doesn’t mention superpowers that I know of. As long as we’re a nation, we’ll be involved in the end times. Of course, with the current occupant of the People’s House, you never know. Sadly ...
