By way of contrast the Western Wall is open to all and all do come. On one visit I lent an Irish guy my pen so he could write a prayer to inset into a crevice in the Wall. He had come to the Wall and didn't know what or why people were writing on pieces of paper and sticking it into the wall so he asked me. And a non Jewish buddy at home gave me his prayer to insert for him

I am very close to feeling the same frustration I felt as I watched Saigon Fall to the communists.

As Americans -soldiers and marines- were forced to flee.. leaving most of our Vietnamese friends and allies behind to fall into the hands of the North Vietnamese- Whose fate we not only dont know but really never bothered much about.

Surprisingly, Jerusalem's new haredi mayor, Uri Lupolianski, has added his voice to those of the Arab officials

Lupolianski has to "prove" that he's not a "threat" to Labor, Meretz, and Shinui, so he kisses Arab tuchis to show how "pluralistic" he is. What a shonda.

OTOH, he may belong to the sect which believes that G-D will send a mighty "smart bomb" to destroy the abominations on the Temple Mount just before the Third Temple can be constructed, destroying everyone in the way.
