"The Firearms Safety and Consumer Protection Act, introduced by Sen. Jon S. Corzine (D-N.J.) and Rep. Patrick Kennedy (D-R.I.), would give the Department of Justice authority to regulate the design, manufacture and distribution of guns." Somebody obviously forgot to tell these two numbnuts the "new Democrat consensus" that the gun control issue was a "loser issue" and that the Democrats "wan't gonna do dat anymo'".

Yep. The government according to them knows more about guns than the entire experience of the firearms industry combined. That's liberalism for y'all.

Somebody obviously forgot to tell these two numbnuts the "new Democrat consensus" that the gun control issue was a "loser issue" and that the Democrats "wan't gonna do dat anymo'".Unfortunately there are some sections of the USA (I'm ashamed to say) where this sort of garbage sits well with the populace. NY, RI, MA, CT, NJ, MD, IL, and the Peoples' Democracy of Kalifornia all come to mind. The morons of NY keep voting into office shrill anti-gun morons like upChuckie Schemer and Carolyn McCarthy. McCarthy's sole issue that got here elected was a promise to further strip away the 2nd Amendment rights of free Americans. She won by a large margin too.
