Demonstrators Rally In Support Of War, Troops 3/16/2003 It was the reason more than 50 people lined a section of Highway 53 in Hallie Sunday afternoon. The two-hour long rally was held in support of the war effort and actions of U.S. troops.
"I think there's a lot of people out there who actually support them and they need to hear from us," said Mary Pat Krueger, from Menomonie.
"It's important to do something. Everybody I called said thank you, we didn't know what to do," said John Nebelsiek, rally organizer. He says he decided to organize the rally after seeing the publicity given to demonstrations put on by war protestors
