Here are my (few) pictures from the rally at Valley Forge today. There was a huge turnout. According to the radio on the way home, there were "thousands". More comments coming -

Sorry I wasn't there mom, (no really, she's my mom!), but I did hit a hole in one and a few in the sand traps in support of the troops and all those at the rally today.

LOL - You're pretty quick.
The second picture in the opening post is Mo1 and her sweetie girl, Supporting the troops.
Thanks for lending me a sign to go with my flag. Boy, it felt good to get out there and cheer on our troops.

I'm uncomfortable with that too. Defacing the flag is disrespectful of it. I'm sure it was done with good intentions, but it is still defacing.
I will watch to see if anyone else has simular feelings and can post more authoratively to the issue.
But it struck me when I saw it too.

According to the radio on the way home, there were "thousands". According to cop I talked to at rally, about 8,000 - 10,000. Plus another 3,000 left stranded at the parking lot at 1:50 when they announced the rally space was full and no more would be bussed. Plus who knows how many gave up and left when they saw the length of the line for the busses.
The event organizers VASTLY underestimated how many would show up
