Anti-Anti-Americanism: Will the U.S. tell the world to take this job and shove it?

We're hearing so much these days about anti-Americanism. Let's start a movement of our own: anti anti-Americanism.

An anti anti-American movement would speak out against the current compulsion among intellectuals, here and abroad, to paint the United States as a lonely, lumbering and stupid interloper in the ever-so-complex affairs of a sophisticated world.

As I said a couple of days ago, I have come to the decision that "intellectualism" doesn't exist, that it's a scam by a group of pious and uppity people who think they're above others, that they are "educated", that they know things the rest of us can't. It's utter garbage. They don't have a lick of common sense. Intelligence isn't judged by how many words you've memorized out of a thesaurus, or that you know how to pronounce the name of Camus.

Leftists aren't progressive at all. How can the Party of HomoFascism be anything but Regressive, a throwback to our animal past?

This isn't a revelation. It's something I've always known, but have never seen it on such a deep level before. Whatever liberal tendencies I might have had, I'm an adult now, a Conservative to the grave.

I'll tell you where the anti-American sentiment came from - x42 and Carter. Those 2 have been all around the country and the world talking bad about America.

x42 wants to be Sec.Genl. I believe his plan has been to talk the EU people into supporting him - and he will take care of the USA once he gets into the UN.

Of course, I suspect he also believes he will have help in the USA - his wife - as President.

I only pray Jesus comes before that happens - if it ever happens.

They also tend greatly to be leftists. Who can forget the poll of Harvard professors where 50 are registered Democrats and 2 are registered Republicans.

++registered+Democrats+and+3++registered+Republicans.&hl=en&ie=UTF-8

The survey found:
•At the University of Maryland, of the 69 professors whose political affiliations were located, 59 were registered as Democrats and 10 as Republicans. Out of a sample of 37 sociology professors, 34 were Democrats. Of 20 political science professors, 17 were Democrats. Of 12 economics professors, eight were Democrats.
•At the University of Colorado at Boulder, 116 of the professors whose party registrations could be established were Democrats and five were Republicans. Out of a sample of 37 professors who teach English, none were Republicans. Out of a sample of 29 history professors, one was Republican. Out of 19 political science professors, two were Republican.
•At Brown University, 54 professors whose political affiliations showed up in primary registrations last year were Democrats, compared with three Republicans. Out of 10 English professors, none was Republican. Of 17 history professors, none was Republican. Out of seven political science professors, none was Republican. Of eight sociology professors, none was Republican. Out of six economics professors, one was Republican. Of nine engineering professors, two were Republican.
•At Harvard University, of the 52 professors whose affiliations were found, 50 were registered Democrats and two were Republicans. Of 15 sociology professors, none was Republicans. Out of 16 economics professors, one was Republican. Of 21 political science professors, one was Republican.
•At Penn State University, 59 professors from the arts and sciences department were registered Democrats and 10 were Republicans. Out of 37 sociology professors, 34 were Democrats. Of 20 political science professors, 17 were Democrats. Out of 12 economics professors, eight were Democrats.
•At the University of California at Santa Barbara, a sample of 72 arts and sciences professors were registered Democrats and one was Republican. Out of 29 history professors, one was Republican. Of 21 English professors, none was Republican. Out of 29 history professors, one was Republican. Of 13 political science professors, none was Republican, and out of eight journalism professors, none was Republican.
•At the University of Texas at Austin, of the 109 professors whose political affiliations were found, 94 were Democrats and 15 were Republicans. Out of six philosophy professors, one was Republican. Of 19 political science professors, 15 were Democrats. Out of 14 history professors, two were Republicans. Out of 42 English professors, 35 were Democrats.
College campuses should be a safe haven for vigorous debate over the merit of ideas, some education analysts argued. But no debate is possible if the vast majority of opinions originate on one side of the political spectrum, they said.

"Leftists aren't progressive at all."

Very, very, very true. They also have a profoundly negative view of human nature rather than the positive one they lay claim to.

Bingo!!! This is a theme which was brillantly stated by Thomas Sowell in 'The Vision of the Anointed" a must read that is very relevant to understanding the anti Americaniam of the Left we are seeing.

Vision of the Anointed is a Book written by Dr Sowell in 1995, the number is: ISBN 0-465-08994-1. The subtitle is: "Self Congratulation as a Basis for Social Policy" LOL!

He goes through the promise of many of the Liberials Social policies, the reality of their failure, and the arrogance of the Liberials towards those disagree with them.

GREAT read. Should be available through any B&N or Borders.

I'm humbled. I usually say what I think, and sometimes feel like I'm looking over my shoulder, that I'm going to be canned by the mods. I can't say that I've ever been blessed before.

I appreciate the heads up of Sowell's books. I always enjoy his columns. (Lookit all these Right wing bigots in the evil Freep, recommending a book by a black man. Who'd have thunk it?) :)
