I find the increased use of PVC (a government plot?) makes the former quite unreliable these days.

You have to run a wire from the cap down your back and then down your pants leg. Then, you have to affix a small copper chain to the heel of your shoe and alow it to drag behind you.

Equipping both legs and shoes this way is even better, particularly if you raise your feet very much while walking.
