CFR was a "pig in a poke." All about looking and feeling good while doing precisely the wrong thing. Dump the problem on the courts...yech! This is McPain's legacy, that and the Keating 5. Never, ever take him seriously.

If the Members are lucky, the courts will save them from themselves and find McCain-Feingold unconstitutional. If not, maybe next time they'll read what they're voting for.

Fat chance of that happening any time soon.

Before voting on any bill, I think every Congressman should have to sign a statement under oath that he has actually read it in its entirety.

That would put an end to these giant, incomprehensible bills full of riders that no one has read.
