FR Chapters in Texas need to support the rally effort in San Antonio. Details are still breaking, but it appears the station that carries the show in San Antonio is leading the effort. Let's show the liberals how to put on a real rally.

I heard this guy one time on WABC on his overproduced show and he was irritating as hell. Might be a good idea is Glenn Beck wasn't involved.

Take your favorite talk show host, and there will be times when he/she irritates and disappoints you. Whether you are a fan of Glenn Beck or not, he is showing support for America and that should be supported.

He may be conservative but I can't stand his demeanor and can't take him for more than 5 minutes

I agree with you

Then attend for the sake of the troops. I have listened to Rush Limbaugh for almost 12 years, and if I had a dollar every time he or a caller said something that disappointed me, I'd be rich.

Support the troops, and put your differences with Beck aside.

I have never heard him before today. I was in the airport all day waiting while listening to my walkman.

I thought he was great. He asked his protester-callers pointed questions that they could not answer, and made them sound like the tin-foil fools that they are.

It was a serious show today. Maybe that is not always the case.

I like Beck, but even if you don't care for him, he has been doing these type of rallies for years and they are always about patriotism, not about promoting himself or his program.

When he was the afternoon host in Tampa, he'd just be concerned on a need for a show of patriotism about a certain subject, and he'd call for a spontaneous rally. Hundreds would show up at the radio station and line the highways around the station.

You may not like his style, but his heart is in the right place, he is truly a patriot.

I don't listen to Glenn Beck that much (maybe about 20% of the time). However, anyone showing and planning support of the troops and the country at this time should be welcomed, encouraged, and supported.

As a minimum, those that are able to attend one of these rallies should.

If I had a dollar for every person that I pissed off, I'd be rich. Despite my calm demeanour, I know that I have pissed off many people in my lifetime.

BTW #1 -- I plan on attending this rally. I also volunteer to drive from Houston. I won't charge riders for Petro (free Petro from Petro, I gotta stop this rhymne stuff).

BTW #2 -- See the 1040-Dog form I posted. Kim Jong joke time.

BTW #3 -- Can't post to our local forum. What wrong with it?

Gracey also mentioned an event on Saturday March 1, in Austin.

It would be great if we can get the ball rolling with many marches and rallies nationwide.
