Shutting Down Susan Sarandon and the "NO WAR FOR OIL" Hollyweirdo Peaceniks
02/05/03 | Maryellen Davies

"I just need to know...What did Iraq ever do to us?"

Susan Sarandon, in anti-war ad for "Let The Inspections Work" campaign.

Susan and the "No War For Oil'ers" just can't be made to understand the Iraq War situation like the rest of us...or CAN they? Just what could open their eyes to the need to remove Saddam through force and the kaleidoscope of potential threats he poses if we don't?

What do YOU suppose it would take to force the leftist elites in Hollyweird to cry "Uncle," or end up proving their imbicility beyond any doubt?

The following suggestion would be as illegal as if it were done by high scoolers. It was always illegal when I went to school, but since the world became a more dangerous place on 9/11 and the day of Columbine, it is now fully realized that THREATS ARE SERIOUS...Just like the ones posed by Mr. Saddam Hussein. Envision this:

The telephone rings at the ten million dollar home of your average Bigmouth Hollyweird War Protester. The "star" has just arrived home from two weeks on the French Riviera. All morning, the stupor-star legend in his/her own mind has been on the phone with others like him/herself, making notations in the old appointment calendar for their next free weekend war protest, where they will offer their empty headed words against US action in Iraq and rake President Bush over the coals with hateful diatribes in the bargain.

Call waiting rings in...On the other line, the strange voice informs the star there are poison gas bombs located somewhere in their house powerful enough to blow the entire place to Denver and spread the deadly gas twice that far through the atmosphere. They are ready to be detonated by motion sensor remote controls and there is only one door in the entire house the "star" can get close enough to escape from without setting them off, but the caller isn't saying which door (of dozens) it is. Dialing 911 is also forbidden, as that will set them off right away.

Who IS this terrible caller?

Why does he want to kill the "star" and possibly millions of other innocent citizens like this?

Where on EARTH could someone get such a number of bombs to cause this kind of TERROR with?

There are two possible answers that stand out among many here...

(A.) Someone with ties to terrorism has sneaked Iraqi poison chemical WMD across the weak Canadian border and chosen this "star's" house (as well as dozens of others in strategic cities from coast to coast) to plant them in.

(B.) The "star" is still mildly incoherrant from a two week French Riviera cocaine binge and doesn't recognize the voice of their AGENT, trying to sell them on a new movie script.

Take Answer "B"...If it were "A", there would never be a phone call to begin with!

"I just need to know...What did Iraq ever do to us?" Susan Sarandon,

What a flake.

Even if Iraq hadn't financed and supported terrorist activities within our borders, like it or not the US EXISTS as a country partly because SOMEONE (FRANCE) came to our rescue, probably mostly to spite the British. Far be it from me to stick up for French attitudes toward us and toward fighting for freedom today, but they would do well to look back at the value in fighting to free oppressed peoples. We're just paying it forward.

Dear Susan;

If it's "all about oil" we would have either taken over the Kuwaiti oil fields in 1992 or done the same thing today with our current troops stationed there.

Kuwait has more oil reserves than Iraq, no WMDs, and virtually no military.

Next stupid question?

Sincerely,

Olde

Here are my thoughts (and a BUMP!) from my other post:

Well I have about had it. Just read another article, this one about 30,000 people sending letters to Blair on the Iraq situation. We have people wanting to be human shields, protests around the world against Bush, War in Iraq, Blair, America, etc.

How many protests, letters, and such have we had by people against Saddam and his policies? Where are these people when Saddam is murdering his neighbors, torturing people, etc? Where are the protests by women's groups at iraqi Embasssies? Why all of the sudden do people rush into action against the US and it's allies when they sat quietly for years living it up with Clinton and friends? I guess human rights are only fought for and in the news when it is convenient - and even then only if they can get some political gain from it.

So write to me here, tell me why you let saddam murder, torture, rape, do whatever he wants and you don't even give it the time of day - tell me why your not out using your peaceful means to get him to cave into your pressure. You want the UN to do it all? Fine, that still does not mean you should not be out protesting against him.

You want a peaceful solution? You believe using your peaceful protests and such will change whether or not we go to war, who knows it might - such things have led to change in the past. But how about you use that same pressure on Saddam to get him to change? Rallies around the world, ending letters, offering to be human shields for the kurds.

War is ugly, it sucks and people die. Your yelling that to the US, try yelling that at Saddam. We know it all to well. As Al Gore Said - Saddam Must Go.

And for those who think it is all about oil and Bush and such, see my links below.

What did Nazi Germany ever do to us, Suzie?

Are you opposed to the American declaration of war on Germany in 1941, even though it was the Japanese, not the Germans, who attacked us?

Are you that stupid? (rehetorical question)

What a flake.

You have to understand that these Hollywood liberals make their living memorizing lines that someone else wrote and behaving the way other people direct and becoming characters other people create.

After all of this they have a hunger and need to show other people that they are independant individuals. The simplest way to do this is to mouth anti-American anti-capitolist simple minded leftist drivel. These people never had to outgrow their juvinile selves and became responsible, thinking adults.

There is a memorable scene in "The Great Waldo Pepper" where Susan Sarandon's character freezes up while wing walking and falls when an attempt is made to rescue her (by Robert Redford no less). One instant she is there and the next she isn't. I suppose if one were to rent the DVD version of the film, one could watch the scene over and over and over and ....

Ya got a point there... so you're saying we ought to give as much credence to their rantings as a hormonal teenager? I'll go for that!
