I just went to takebackthemedia.com (know your enemy) and saw replies from Oreck to the boycotters. They pretty much said "Shove it". Let's send Oreck emails of support.http://www.oreck.com/customer-service/contact-oreck.cfm Also, Scottrade.com actually has a "how did you hear about us" choice for Rush Limbaugh.
If so, AWESOME!! They will be receiving an email from...MUD
Moral of the Story--when you advertise with Rush, stick with it. Ultimately, your business will suffer if you withdraw for political reasons.

"I certainly appreciate your constructive thought and input into the current situation. The situation is not simply about Oreck pulling out of what is financially a very profitable time slot, it is instead about people trying to remove a figure they see as dangerous or evil. In this case, the removal of Oreck will only open the slot for another corporaiton, who will pay just as much and receive the exact same thing.
This cycle is not going to end as you will be fighting companies who purchase air time for as long as Rush Limbaugh has a show.
The only reason why companies strive for this air time is not because they fully agree with whatever Rush Limbaugh says today or tomorrow, but rather because it is one of the largest nationally listened to radio show in the United States. The more controversial it becomes, and the more people fight it, the larger it is likely to get. We have all seen this phenomenon before.
For Oreck, this situation is not about patriotism, as our patriotism as a company in America cannot be questioned by anybody, it is about who is going to have a job and who is not going to have a job. We have thousands of people all across America who rely on Oreck for their income. There is a possibility that some stores will close down due to lost profit from the Rush Limbaugh slot, as it is an incredibly profitable method of advertisement for us.
The reason I am telling you the grim truth about what happens when a large corporation suddenly loses money is because you, as a protester, generally do not think of anything outside of the current agenda. This is by no means an insult. Instead it is an attempt to allow you, as only one person, to realize that there is going to be circumstances to an action that will cost a considerable amount of money over time. At this time, I am not aware of any swing towards cutting the Rush Limbaugh slot or not. It will take some time before we know whether or not we will pull out from the position. We appreciate your continued patience while we wait until a final decision is made.
If you have any further questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us again.

Dear Mr. Harris,
Bose Corporation advertises in a vast and diversified mix of media. We make advertising decisions based on whether the ad is generating revenue in the medium where it's placed. Where we advertising is not a reflection of agreement or disagreement with the editorial content of a publication or program. Thank you for contacting us with your ideas. We value all our customers.

Subject: Advertising on Rush Limbaughs show
Dear Carolyn,
It saddens me to hear that Bose is not going to advertise on Rush's show. I am a pilot and own 4 pair of your aviation headsets. I used to promote the headsets, but I can't in good conscience continue doing so. I will probably sell them.
Sincerely,
LeGrande Harris
Mud, second confirmation...Bose caved.
Yep...you mess with El Rushbo and yer messin' with...MUD
