I heard about that.....wish I had cable to see it...lol.

With the leadership surrounding Frist being definitely conservative, I am optimistic the ML will push for more rightwing GOP ideas instead of moderate GOP ideas. Santorum has stated we WILL pass a PBA ban, so it is going to happen I think.

your acting like a 2 year old

Howlin, take it with a grain of salt. It comes from the same person who calls people "ratty rat".

It is amazing to me that some cannot or will not see what this man is made of! They will be amazed over and over again but they will continue to underestimate and misjudge him...just as the Dems/media do. We can go all the way back to 2000 when the naysayers declared that GWB would choose a pro-abortion VP...they were wrong then and they are wrong now.

Which "low-class" him are we talking about? There's quite a bit of that around here these days.

Oh, let's boil your comment down to an easy-to-understand graphic:

Oh yeah, I'd forgotten about that.

Funny thing is that the same people who were threatening to withhold their vote for him then are still threatening to withhold their vote for him now.

The issue changes, but the threats don't.

Yawn.

Tom, lets go with today's and tomorrow's proposal to see what he has proposed.

What I have seen today, there is no proposal to give refunds to those who don't pay taxes. Only the rats and McAinal have come up with those mantras.

Well, see, Frist had a deal with them to bring up what umemployment bill first, to get it passed.

He introduced Hillary as a sponsor. When she was recognized, she immediately said she wanted to AMEND the bill to make it for ALL unemployed people for 26 weeks (in other words, they sandbagged Frist.)

Then Daschle gets into it, saying why can't we do it for 26 weeks, for ALL the people, not just a few...blah blah blah.

Finally, Santorum had had enough. He asked to be recognized and said (something along the lines of -- but almost exactly this) "Senator, just what exactly is wrong with THIS bill today? This is the VERY SAME bill that YOU proposed and that YOU passed while you were Majority Leader.......now WHAT is wrong with this bill now? Or are you playing politics."

It was ABSOLUTELY fabulous!

On the other hand, ABC News Radio is so biased, it's unbelieveable.

An early morning ABC radio news broadcast today began with one of their "Some say" and then an unidentified person came on with a slam on President Bush's economic plan. This was BEFORE the plan was ever announced. ABC carries Sean Hannity, Rush and Dr. Laura. They know where they get their revenue. Then they subject listeners to egregiously biased news.

Too bad what I say isn't it? It would be fine if I called Lott a ratty rat and trashed Senator Lott like you people have been doing for months now.

Sort of like those sad parents that keep threatening to withhold candy/video games/ whatever from their kids and never do. Ineffectual and full of bs.

TLBSHOW is correct re: Trent Lott. There are many of us that believe this. Your continued abuse of my Southern Heritage is assinine. I am a native Californian. Anytime you want to quit the Republican party you have my permission. It is called seceeding. That which you joined voluntarily you can unjoin voluntarily, IMHO. You act like a traitor to the Conservative cause. We will stand together or hang together. Your abuse of fellow Republicans is sickening.
