When Congress rejects the will of the people, the people must act themselves. Congress has rubber-stamped Bush's criminal war that seeks to conquer the oil, land and resources of the Middle East. Bush and Congress have shown that they represent the interests of Corporate America rather than the people of the United States.

A people's movement is growing to stop them. Tens of thousands of people will participate in mass protest activities on the Martin Luther King Jr. anniversary weekend.

Actually, my favorite bumper sticker up there was:

"Ithaca: 10 sq. miles surrounded by reality.

Maybe the interest of the American populace would be whetted if an inclusive package were added; How about a couple of hours whining about the war followed by a couple of hours in Atlantic City??

I predict the "blue hairs" would swell the ranks appreciably.

It would save time, energy, and resources if one night these fools would just lie down in the middle of the New York State Thruway.

When Congress rejects the will of the people, the people must act themselves.

I think this is called, in legal terms, "conspiracy to commit sedition and treason".

Hey, I have an idea! Freepers buy up those bus seats and take a trip to D.C. When you get there just slide on over with the other freepers. You can kill two birds with one ticket, so to speak. Take up space (use those scholarships) that would be taken by a peacenik. Who's gonna keep up with where you go once you get to D.C.? Yeah, I know, it's devious...but wouldn't it be fun?

High above Canuga's waters
There's an awful smell.
Some say it's Canuga's waters,
I say it's Cornell!

Let's send the peaceniks to Iraq. The women can be put in Saddam's harem and the men can be used for whatever the evil dictator dictates.
