Polls on this one are all over the place--Terrell up by 6, Landrieu up by 16, etc. etc. I gotta believe this one is basically even.

I feel like an almanac:

INFORMATION PLEASE!

What is UNO? Is this an internal poll, or is it by somebody who has a track record?

If (big if) this is true, it's good news for Terrell. 13% undecided with the race pretty much tied means that Landrieu has about pretty much topped out at 45%.

Disheartened, dejected democrats are likely to stay home. Rejuvenated, revitalized republicans are likely to show up at the polls. I like our chances in this one.

Stay energized Louisiana GOP.

This would be a plum. A swift kick in the groin for the dems.

Turn-out will be the factor. Republicans will vote in a blizzard, while dems will stay home and watch “Friends”.

Question; Did the Clintons show up for Landrieu?

If Landrieu is under 50%, she has already lost according
to Dick Morris as she is the incumbent.

The President is down there today or tomorrow to campaign for her. He'll make several stops for her.

I feel uneasy.

Terrell better win or we will have a "rejuvenated" Dem party on our hands. The lib newspapers will be ballyhooing the "turnaround" in public sentiment, a revalidation of Dem "values", ad nauseum.

We'd also be back to worrying about a few turncoats pulling a Jeffords again if Landrieu wins.

That's what I was thinking. If the race is now even, it can presumably be swung by Bush visits. How many visits are planned, by the way?

Someone correct me if I'm wromg, but I understand she didn't want Clinton, but did ask for a "get out the vote" phone recording from the bent one.
