That would be That Girl. She is usually in rehab or seeking out a man-whore to numb her reality from being associated with a liberal talkshow host.

On a similar slant, Has anyone ever seen or heard of a real journalist-like talk show ever being successful when hosted by a liberal? No offense people, but I think you could field any conservative with two ideas and people would tune in. The success of conservative media ie, Rush, Sean, Fox News and such is due to the complete and utter opinion void of what people really represent in the rest of the media for the last 50 years.

The liberals have only themselves to blame. It's the o'l fool the people some of the time, add more channels and we can fool all the people all the time routine. Do it for 50 years, and the people will get tired. Why would anyone watch any liberal show? I can tell you the first ten episodes by instinct. Even a liberal science TV show will have Linda Ellerbe explaining that God made gravity just so George Bush could push old ladies over cliffs in wheelchairs. Hate God, and hate conservatives is just boring TV now. In order for a liberal show to work, they would have to have executions and porn to get an audience, and Comedy Central already has a lock on those viewers.

Donahue was the subject of a biting NBC Saturday Night Live parody Saturday in which Darrell Hammond played the liberal talk-show host.

LOL--that was the only 5 minutes that I actually watched of SNL, and it was mildly funny: The charts shown in the skit showed that the percentage of viewers watching Donahue was actually less than the margin of error. ("Which suggests that I may not have any viewers at all!") ROTFLOL!!!

''I want to be a player.'' By September, with his program virtually ignored by cable audiences, he was telling MSNBC's Jerry Nachman that unless he made ''noise'' by January, he'd be out.

Listen to him make out like it's his decision. I find this hard to believe.

Oh look, it's the FOX cheerleaders. They're taunting MSNBC.

"We got ratings!
YES we DO!!
WE got ratings!!
How about YOU?!"

That was a brutal SNL sketch, but it was right on the money. Maybe Michael Moore should'nt be a guest on every other night? Regardless, that talentless fool won't be.

They cancelled Alan Keyes in a lot faster time than they have Donohue. Why they have let Donohue hang on this long is beyond me.

Being a Keyes fan myself I hate to say this, but there is a perfectly good reason they gave Donahue a longer shot.

Keyes was basically plunked into a losing timeslot as a fill in for them. They had no great expecations for the show. They just wanted more of that "right wing talk" stuff that was doing so well for Fox.

Donahue was the basis of an entire new strategy meant to make them competitive in primetime with CNN and Fox. They shuffled all their existing shows around and created new ones around their Donahue centerpiece. They poured huge marketing dollars into promoting the show. No doubt there are many careers at MSNBC other than Donhue's on the line if (and when) his show fails.

I hadn't seen him in years. What the heck happened?

What happened is that in the 70's and 80's, network executives decided what would be shown on TV. Now, viewers do.

Wow, there's a real braintrust operating at MSNBC. Let's see now, the Republicans sweep the elections, Democrats are in disarray, conservative leaning Fox News with a much smaller subscriber base is kicking butt in the ratings and what does MSNBC do to counteract this (he asks rhetorically...)? They put on a left-as-you-can-get liberal retread . What a great idea!

Get the hook!

Strange bunch..... I hadn't seen Diane Dimond on the weekends (one of "Geradlo The Fake's" buddies). She is on Court TV now. I question Rita Cosby on FNC. Taking time out to harp about a letter from "Son of Sam", did it for me. Also, during the Presidential election, she showed her true colors.

Quickly, please, quickly

Can't some soon enough... I have never seen anyone who is more annoying. With his condescend-speak and hand gestures, I am quite sure that if he spoke to me like that I would not be able to overcome the impulse to poke his eyes out.

Loved it when Chris Matthews was on Donahue's show. Say what you want about Matthews, but he couldn't not contain his disdain for Donahue. When Donahue got in his face, he laughed outright at his ridiculous over-acting and it was quite amusing.
