The Montgomery County PD know about the training tapes and they are pulling the vans and box trucks over with shotguns trained on the driver. It is a tense, very scary scene and I fear someone will not follow instructions correctly and get blasted.

There are laws against falsely yelling "fire" in a crowded theatre - but that doesn't prevent 99.99% of people from issuing a genuine warning. There's a HUGE difference between offering an account of what one is not quite sure of - as opposed to giving a complete fabrication for the purpose of notoriety - or worse. This man should be prosecuted as an accessory to murder.

What truly baffles me is this; one guy tells a lie, almost instantly the cops know what he did and who he is. Okay case closed? No,no,no. The cops make THIS a big deal, talk like crazy to the prss about THIS major crime. Meanwhile, the other witnesses to the other 10 crime scenes are ignored. We now know more about what this gut DID NOT see, than what anyone else has seen.

Another freeper posted this chilling reality: This guy could have gotten an innocent person killed with his statement. As on edge hiway patrol and law enforcement approached stopped vehicles that matched his phoney description with riot guns and ready to fire. Besides endangering innocent motorists, he endangered every motorist and passenger held up for hours and the police who put their lives on the line going from vehicle to vehicle.

I'm amazed at so called conservatives who rally to the side of clymers like this clown, and the clown who closed down the Atlanta Airport with his acts of selfish arrogance.

Obstructing justice is among the most dangerous enemies of our Republic.

Those who lie (like the phony witness) or withhold information (like that jackass Condit) severely undermine us.

In fact, they have rendered most of our country's civil venues impotent- with the guilty going free and the innocent footing the bill for the "privilege".

The punishment for obstructing justice should also include 50 lashes- one for each state of the Union- and 5 years of hard time.

THEN see how quickly these creeps learn to behave themselves and stop their lying, cheating ways.

For the skeptics I say, we have nothing to lose by trying this for a few years and seeing what happens.

Or an alternative view is this:
1st, the cops did not "instantly" know anything. It took several days for them to figure out he lied to them.
2nd, who says the other 10 witnesses are ignored? Because they didn't go yammering to the press (like this bozo did)?
3rd - yeah, the LEO's are minimizing release of details to the press. Mainly because they don't have squat, very little from the witnesses. If you exclude all the details that this liar presented, there is not much.

Why? My bet is because these guys are trained terrorists. They have played it very cool so far. Map out the target ground in advance, plan escape routes, drive them in advance, during the time periods, maybe even several teams; then shoot one shot, scoot, and go to cover within a few minutes. Very, very hard to stop.

Fact is, if AQ had a few hundred operatives like this they could really disrupt things. Fortunately for us, most of the AQ operatives are losers. Real lamers. Look at the ones that have been busted to date - a pack of rejects. Just because AQ gives them "meaning" in their pointless lives doesn't keep them from being losers. However, even AQ has some with skill, training, and dedication. Fortunately for us it is few.

Yes, it is very hard to stop.It is made even more difficult when LE wants people to believe it is a 'lone nut/spree killer/trailertrash', when most of the facts point elsewhere.

My main point is, why was the AK74,shot at close range, guy in a tan van, picked up and ran with, and the original 2 men of Hispanic/ME looks, downplayed?

Because someone wants a lot of dis-information floating around to clutter up the facts.And why is this guy now the story? Arrest him and get on with the business at hand. People lie in all sorts of criminal investigations, the cops don't hold press confrences about it.
