I see that the Zogby poll doesn't take into account that "demoA-Holes-will-cheat-lie-and-steal-for-any-Carnahan-vote" factor, so you have to add at least 5% for that.

[Shake Head] SCUMBAGS...

Considering that, it looks like a deadheat.

I second that. Judicial nominees are the most important.

Tiny Tommy has already put the pubbies on notice that, if Talent wins, they will obstruct the takeover process so the Dims retain their committee chairs at least until January.

Huge. Here comes the judge! But you know the RATS will whine if we dont take the senate back permanently. They will say it's not fair to have controversial judges voted on in any 'temporary technicality'. F the RATS.

Actually, I think they do, as was demonstrated in the 2000 election. It's their special ingredient in that "secret sauce."

I'm suspicious of a poll that moves that rapidly in one month. It happens, but there has to be something like a major scandal associated with it (like in NJ).

Well, thank God! That seat should have been Ashcroft's from the start! If I remember, he was slightly ahead when Carnahan died in that plane crash. Then there were the election shenanigans in St. Louis.

You are correct! Wife Carnahan got in on the sympathy vote and will lose her seat the day after the elections because she was appointed, not elected to the senate! .........Here come the judges, here come the judges!

I think the Governor of MO has promised to gum up the certification process to protect the 'Craps in the Senate.

The sad part is that for a gun grabber, this is mild compared to Fox Butterfield and especially that piece of crap Nicholas Kristof.

Let Dasshole take his best shot. After the orderly transfer of power when Jumpin' Jim the traitor moved on over, anything less from the Dems will seem highly partisan.

Ram the judiciary appointments up the collective asses of the left wing whackjobs on the judiciary committee and let them go to the senate floor just like the Constitution demands.

Rural Missouri is pro-Talent, but Carnahan rules in St. Louis. I pray that MO Secretary of State Matt Blunt -- a good Republican -- will be able to keep tabs on the Democrats' ongoing efforts to commit voter fraud in St. Louis.

there was a unofficial web-poll done by one of the local ABC stations here in Columbia, MO. The question was who would you vote for, for Senate? It was Talent - 69%, Carnahan - 41%.

Not that this was scientific by any means, but it was interesting nonetheless.

But first, don't you think the 'pubbies will want to set up some kind of power-sharing system?

Tiny Tommy has already put the pubbies on notice that, if Talent wins, they will obstruct the takeover process so the Dims retain their committee chairs at least until January.

Add to that the fact that Chaffee has promised to "pull a Jeffords", the likelihood of a court challenge for any important election result the Dems don't like, and the spinelessness of the GOP leadership (especially Trent not-a-Lott), and you'll see that getting Justice(s) will not be a slam-dunk no matter how the November elections finish (or IF they'll even finish in November!!!).

No, Disqualify Lousenberg, Then Pack the courts.

Who, exactly, are you counting on to DQ Loserborg at this point? (Forrester just needs to win outright at the ballot box.)

And, packing the courts has a distinctly Dem ring to it from a while back, say around FDR.

Just appointing and getting up-and-down Senate votes on your chosen nominees does not rise to the level of "packing the courts". But you know this already.

Unfortunately, many do not understand history and see the Senate Judicial obstruction as American.

Good news, but I do not trust a thing Zogby says about just about anything, especially statewide polls in states other than New York - the only state he appears to understand. He does have a knack for getting national races right at the last minute (who knows how close he is earlier), but that's about it.
