Morris: Extinction of the Republican Party

Did anyone else hear Morris' prediction on Hannity and Colmes? He had a point, and it sent a chill down my spine. He said unless something changes soon the extenction of the party is imminent. He provided some convincing evidence.

It'll never happen. There will always be two different parties. They may have differences in views, but there will always be a GOP and Dem party. The dems were 'dead' after the War Between the States and the GOP was 'dead' after the depression.

I wish Hannity would have followed with Morris by asking him if that trend would encourage the RATS to avoid any real immigration reform particularly as it pertains to criminal aliens (aka illegal immigrants).

He's got a very good point, but he makes the mistake of assuming that only Europeans are capable of understanding Western values and free-market capitalism.

The problem the Republicans have is that the number of ignorant Americans is growing by the day. The problem the Democrats have is that even the dumbest Americans like fast cars and cheap gas.

The victory always goes to the most determined, and Liberals are far more determined than Conservatives. There will be two parties in the USofA, Liberal Demoncrat and Liberal Republican, one just as destructive as the other.

I have read very cogent arguments that the "red" states (Bush voter areas)are growing in population faster than the "blue" states (Gore voter areas).

He said if you add the black vote, hispanic vote, and women's vote you have 40% of the population voting Dem right off the bat. He said, "That means to win an election, you have to produce 110% of the white male vote."

He also said the ONLY way the Republican party can win in 2008 is to run Condi Rice or Colin Powell.

Very disturbing to think minorities and women are so myopic!

The old Country Club Republican Party of old-line snobs will wither away. But if the party reaches out to Hispanics, Asians, and other groups who are basically social conservatives, they will prosper. To some extent Reagan and Bush have already shown the way.

Catholics are important, too. They used to be working class and massively Democrat, but they have been drifting over to the Republican side as the Democrats do more and more to offend many of them.

It's certainly important that Catholics and Evangelicals should continue to try to work together to oppose the Culture of Death and immorality that the Democrats have amost wholly identified themselves with. If we play it right, the conservative coalition can easily grow.

If anybody is geared toward extinction it would seem it would be Liberals.

They engage in sexual acts that don't result in conception. When they do conceive, they kill their next generation before they have a chance to escape the womb. The ones that do escape the womb engage in sexual acts that shorten their lives.

If "Liberal Futures" was traded on the stock market, I'd sell short.

He fails to mention that the black middle class is growing at a rapid rate. Once Latinos and blacks move further up the ecnomic ladder, they will become Republicans...no doubt.
