The Enemy Within: The Democratic Socialists of America. (Important Election Information)

Know The Enemy: The Democratic Socialists of America
Who Are They, Why We Must Defeat Them

With the elections fast approaching, and the Congress so evenly divided, we can't afford to lose any seats this time - the gridlock in the Senate is intolerable and must be fixed by regaining control. Unfortunately, the Republican National Committee has decided to turn a blind eye to our nation's internal enemies and not expose them to the light of day. They fear being labeled as 'mean spirited' (translated as neutered by the leftist media). So, as true Americans, it's up to us to get the word out and in so doing, run out some of these communists who occupy seats within the Congress. By the same logic, I call on President Bush to remove ALL Clinton administration holdovers immediately and thoroughly. These career leftists are doing severe damage to the clarity and purpose of the Bush presidency - by design. Their actions border upon treason.

Exactly how many members of Congress are also members of the Democratic Socialists of America? At last count: 58. All 58 of these Marx loving communists are up for re-election. Why the Hell are they even in there to start with? This is a valid question - ideology aside - as these Congressmen have taken an oath of office in which they promise to defend the Constitution of The United States of America. Contrary to that oath, the DSA is the American Chapter of the Socialist International (aka The International Communist Party). The end goal of communism (or socialism for that matter) is to replace or destroy everything that this nation was founded upon. To include the Constitution. If the truth were to be told to the voting public about these Congressmen, just this one time, major changes will take place.

It isn't too large a stretch when one looks at the performance of the Senate (now that the Rats control it) to come to the conclusion that this silent coup is already underway. The only things to get through that chamber are the ones which Daschle can't ignore, or which directly undermine the sovereignty and/or security of the nation. It's time for the Republican Party - and if not the party officials at least its' members - to come out and call a spade a spade. The nation can't afford to be dragged down the road of socialist policies any longer. It's time to stop the Clintonesque hair splitting when speaking about the Democrats. They are our nation's sworn enemies. They are the US version of the USSR's Politburo in Congress. Take off the gloves, and start telling the world who the Democrats are: Communists.

In order to save you some time looking for this steaming pile of worm filled feces known as the DSA, I'm attaching their own web page below for your reading enjoyment.

WHERE WE STAND

The Political Perspective of the Democratic Socialists of America

Table of Contents

Preamble

At the beginning of the 20th century, a young and vibrant socialist movement anticipated decades of great advances on the road to a world free from capitalist exploitation -- a socialist society built on the enduring principles of equality, justice and solidarity among peoples.

At the end of the 20th century, such hope and vision seem all but lost. The unbridled power of transnational corporations, underwritten by the major capitalist nations, has created a world economy where the wealth and power of a few is coupled with insecurity and downward mobility for the vast majority of working people -in both the Northern and Southern hemispheres. Traditional left prescriptions have failed on both sides of the Communist/socialist divide. Global economic integration has rendered obsolete both the social democratic solution of independent national economies sustaining a strong social welfare state and the Communist solution of state-owned national economies fostering social development.

The globalization of capital requires a renewed vision and tactics. But the essence of the socialist vision--that people can freely and democratically control their community and society--remains central to the movement for radical democracy. Those who I the collapse of communist regimes, for which the rhetoric of socialism became a cover for authoritarian rule, as proof that capitalism is the foundation of democracy, commit fraud on history. The struggle for mass democracy has always been led by the excluded -- workers, minorities, and women. The wealthy almost never join in unless their own economic freedom appears at stake. The equation of capitalism with democracy cannot survive scrutiny in a world where untrammeled capitalism means unrelenting poverty, disease, and unemployment.

Today powerful corporate and political elites tell us that environmental standards are too high, unemployment is too low, and workers earn too much for America to prosper in the next century. Their vision is too close for comfort: inequality of wealth and income has grown worse in the last 15 years: one percent of America now owns 60 percent of our wealth, up from 50 percent before Ronald Reagan became president. Nearly three decades after the "War on Poverty" was declared and then quickly abandoned, one-fifth of our society subsists in poverty, living in substandard housing, attending underfunded, overcrowded schools, and receiving inadequate health care.

In the global capitalist economy, these injustices are magnified a thousand fold. The poorest third of humanity earns two percent of the world's income, while the richest fifth receives two-thirds of global income. And while every middle class household in the developed world aims to own a personal computer, millions elsewhere are forever hungry. Such injustice is not a force of nature, but the logical outcome of the economic dominance of transnational corporations backed by the dominant capitalist governments.

In this new economic order where sweatshops and child labor are on the rise and capital is freed from historic national constraints, American movements for social justice must of necessity adopt the internationalism of the socialist tradition. Just as Eugene Debs said, "While there is a soul in prison, I am not free" and Martin Luther King proclaimed that, "A threat to justice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere," we must pledge to forge a new international solidarity based the spirit of the abolitionists and suffragists, the labor, peace, and civil rights movements, of modern feminism and environmentalism.

In the United States, the rise of global capitalism has been accompanied by the increasing strength of conservative and corporate elites and the weakening of social movements and trade unions that have historically been the backbone of mass liberalism. As a result, many socialists and progressives have come to question the tactics and policies that have long comprised the political program of the Left.

DSA has been in the forefront of this necessary reevaluation of Left strategy and program. For five years, DSA has been engaged in a thoroughgoing discussion of a renewed mission and vision for today's world. No old assumption has been too sacred to be scrutinized, and no new idea has been too provocative to be easily dismissed. Since DSA is a pluralist organization, no single document can adequately and equally reflect our diverse perspectives. But, at the end of our five year evaluation, we have established a political center of gravity to ground these diverse views. This is where we stand:

We are socialists because we reject an international economic order sustained by private profit, alienated labor, race and gender discrimination, environmental destruction, and brutality and violence in defense of the status quo.

We are socialists because we share a vision of a humane international social order based both on democratic planning and market mechanisms to achieve equitable distribution of resources, meaningful work, a healthy environment, sustainable growth, gender and racial equality, and non-oppressive relationships.

A democratic socialist politics for the 21st century must promote an international solidarity dedicated to raising living standards across the globe, rather than "leveling down" in the name of maximizing profits and economic efficiency. Equality, solidarity, and democracy can only be achieved through international political and social cooperation aimed at ensuring that economic institutions benefit all people. Democratic socialists are dedicated to building truly international social movements - of unionists, environmentalists, feminists, and people of color -that together can elevate global justice over brutalizing global competition.

In the United States, we must fight for a humane public policies that will provide quality health care, education, and job training and that redirect public investment from the military to much-neglected urban housing and infrastructure. Such policies require the support of a majoritarian coalition of trade unionists, people of color, feminists, gays and lesbians and all other peoples committed to democratic change. Our greatest contribution as American socialists to global social justice is to build that coalition, which is key to transforming the power relations of global capitalism.

It appears that the Rats (under the guidance of Daschle, Terry, and Bubba are going to try their best to bring what they call "Domestic Issues" into the spotlight before the elections. Should they attempt this tactic, this bit of information about who these Democrats really are should be the perfect ambush for them. Every Republican who is seeking office should become familiar with the DSA and have some extremely tough talking points to use on this issue.

I've got to go back in there to find it - as soon as my stomach can stand it. The last list I saw was outdated - but I'll try to find the new info.

Following up on my own post.

This page gives a list of 58 members of the 'Congressional Progressive Caucus' (soon to be 57; Cynthia McKinney's in there), who the DSA claims is working with them; but there's no mention of any members of CPC being also members of DSA.

Let's be careful about what we're claiming.

All right. This link here is straight from the Democratic Socialists of America's home page. Sure, it doesn't say specifically that these guys are red banner waving members of the Socialist Party, but why does this socialist website so openly sponsor the Progressive Caucus?

http://www.dsausa.org/pc/pc.members.html

Also, this link is to the "Progressive Agenda". (keep in mind, this is the dem socialists of America's web site). Sure sounds like socialism to me. You ask any lefty and they'll tell you that "progressive" is the code word nowadays for "socialist". It's just that simple. They change their name and suddenly they're invisible. But they're socialists, make no mistake about it.

Oh, I have no doubts, looking at the list. But it's foolish to make a claim that X is a member of Y if both X and Y can shoot you down by simply denying it. I suspect these critters are way too careful to call themselves socialists (except for Bernie Sanders, and they'll elect anything in Vermont as long as it's queer, er, I mean odd. ) 'Progressive' doesn't have the same connotations, even though it means the same thing.

Another thing these critters are way too clever to call themselves is Progressives. If you look on the Congressional Websites of these 58, only a small handful even note that they're members of the Progressive Caucus. Some list every Caucus they've ever been a member of yet somehow fail to mention Progressive Caucus Membership. A few are pretty brazen about it. Jesse Jackson Jr lists membership and also has a link to Dem Soc of America on his website.

Sen Paul Wellstone is also a member of the Caucus or affiliated with them somehow or another.

I am posting this again, it was posted earlier by another freeper:

The American people will never knowingly adopt socialism, but under the name of liberalism they will adopt every fragment of the socialist program until one day America will be a socialist nation without ever knowing how it happened----

Norman Thomas, six-time Socialist Party presidential candidate and one of the founders of the ACLU

Here is a list of the Democrats who belong to the Democratic Socialist of America...I would imagine there are some who are sympathetic members and don't want their names known like Hillary Clinton. Publish this list everywhere and e-mail it to everyone; talk about terrorist among us these people are so anti-American it is frightening. Pastor and a few others are no longer among the elected or will not be. http://b.webring.com/hub?sid=&ring=unionring&id=&list

Sounds like the United Nations as well.....Socialist/Marxists all!

These people must be investigated now, I wonder how many have links to the al Queda or other terrorist organizations. Liberalism is nothing less than Socialism; don't call them Liberals because they aren't and the DNC is rife with these people and crooks...there is no Democratic Party any more.

I started digging around at the DLC - and hit the jackpot. I got to the DLC by clicking on a link within the SOCIALISTS INTERNATIONAL site under their North American chapters link. Get this: the DLC (under the moniker of Social Democrats) and the DSA are the only two listed organizations within the International Socialist. They have absolutely NO DENIABILITY. The DLC has what they call their "New Democrat" members, and the site lists ALL of them from the local level on up. (New Democrat = Social Democrat) Please go to this link to see this list: http://www.ndol.org/new_dem_dir_action.cfm?viewAll=1

These snakes in disguise are always totally predictable.

You know how the Christians have the WWJD(What Would Jesus Do) saying as a guideline?

The socialist scumbags are unfailing in their WWkmD(What Would karl marx Do). Americans should definitely read the communist manifesto to see the implementation of totalatarian controls(10 planks). The hive mentality will not lead to utopia, paradise or heaven on earth. - just the opposite.

In my lifetime I've seen socialism ravage country after country generaly leading to moral and/or financial bankruptcy. They've been working on this country(USA) for close to 100 years now.

why does this socialist website so openly sponsor the Progressive Caucus

Because the Congressional Progressive Caucus comprises the crypto-Marxists of Congress. Check out the names on the list! The good news: Komissars Hilliard and McKinney are on the way out, and Wellstone may be as well.
