Leftists like nukes. Does this represent a shift in anti-American communist strategy?

Recently I have come across two occasions where radical leftists have written about how they want to see more nuclear weapons in the world. Their goal seems to be to have other countries that can attack the U.S.

Is this a shift in leftist strategy? I always thought the communists wanted to ban all nuclear weapons.

Communists in the US and around the world wanted Nukes banned in America, not in the Soviet Union.

And someone should pull up Madeline NotSoBrights speech from a few years ago when she talked of how unfair it was that the US was the sole SuperPower and that other nations needed to have WoMD to combat our superiority.

Where did you get that idea? The basic leftist (and Nazi/Fascist) stance is:

American nukes = bad.
Israeli nukes = bad.
Communist nukes = good.
Islamic nukes = good.

This, of course, corresponds directly to their craving for having America and Israel eradicated.

Naturally, radical leftists hold this position. They don't want the U.S. to have nuclear weapons, but believe that it not only fair, but necessary for third world countries to have them. By the third world having nukes, the radical leftists believe that U.S. hegemony around the world could be kept in check. ALso, they would not shed a tear if a U.S. city was lost to a terrorist nuke because they believe that the U.S. is the most dangerous nuclear power because we used them on the Japanese in WWII. Since no other country has done this and that any third world nation having nukes has no record of having used them, these leftists believe that countries like Iraq, Libya, Pakistan and North Korea have proven themselves to be more trustworthy with nukes than the U.S. In their logic, U.S. with nukes = bad, Third World hell-holes with nukes = good. They just want to see U.S. military strength weakened and the U.S. subject to third world demands. It fits perfectly with their anti-American agenda.

Remember Hazel O'Leary and the nuclear declassification debacle under Clinton? They thought it was terrible that the US had all the nuclear know how and was a big bad lone superpower. They wanted to get this information to other nations to make things more "equal".

One day we are going to have to try Bill Clinton for treason and then give him the punishment he deserves.
