Thank you for posting these. One of the most memorable aspects of the 09/11 aftermath, were the expressions of sorrow by people around the world. At a time when we could quite naturally conclude that many around the world hate us, we were assured that many around the world loved us too. Pretty cool.

Calm down. Just because there are no pictures listed here from France doesn't mean there aren't any memorials there. There are over 400 D-Day memorials in France. I was in France in May and found the people to be nice enough.

I understand the French have a better sense of humor than some Americans. Is it true?

Sense of humor? I guess you are just too witty for some of us? I am not a huge fan of the frogs, however, there is plenty of French bashing around here.
