Maybe I'm taking it too personally. Earlier last week, I was informed that a terrorist kingpin who had targeted my family and me for assassination was killed in Baghdad.

Abu Nidal

There is a chance that the U.S.A will become the U.S.S.A (the United Socialist States of America).

somewhere around 1970-72 my daughter and son were still 5 & 4 years respectively from beginning school and as far as I knew, everything was going great with our schools..i graduated from high school only 7 years earlier and had gotten educated well enuf to get into a good college......as a result...i paid no attention to what the nea was doing...first problem...busing began...may have been necessary but it was the beginning of the ruin of our school system...not because of race problems but because so many unmotivated dark skinned people were dumped on a superior caucasian school system with no preparation...around '74, when my kids reached school age we were able to see the main problem...most of the light skinned kids would finish their assigned classroom work and were forced to wait until the dark skinned children finished...usually in about twice the time...they weren't at fault...their previous schools and their non-motivating parents were, because of the terrible schools they were forced to attend before integration...my wife became active in the pta and was elected president solely as an excuse to be at school to observe what was going on...didn't take long before she came home and demanded that we put the children in private school...even though we still had to pay taxes to support schools that we couldn't justify sending our children to...so we as a young couple had to pay thousands of dollars yearly...not because of being racists...we weren't...but because we knew no other way to get our children a good education...our children grew up and thank goodness are successful...THEY didn't pay attention and guess what, the schools are actually worse because over the years the teachers and then most of the students gaveup ...especially the teachers...finally, my children have four children about twenty five years after they first entered school and guess what...they refuse to send their kids to public school and instead of working for a good income...my daughter stays home full time and teaches the children herself...and has to forego the income that is really needed by young couples now days...they and most of their generation didn't pay attention to the nea...if this generation doesn't pay attention, hopefully, public schools will have been replaced by some form of corporate owned schools...that's a pretty scary concept, too...what about the 2002 version of the nea... well, they oversaw the ruin of our schools...have gotten a bunch of raises while the schools became battlefields with drugs and weapons galore...when i was in school...we thought getting away with smokin' a tobacco cigarette was baddd...the NEA?...California is a fine example...the nea is threatening the parents of home schooled children to put their children in the dangerous public schools or they will be prosecuted for having truant children...young people if YOU don't pay attention what damage will the nea do to YOU and your children...you had better start paying attention...

Excellent Handle by the way... Naval Infantry... very close to SEALS!!

With the DemonRats in charge of most big cities and by extension the school systems in those cities and the NEA, they are churning out generation after generation of "useful idiots," American History isn't even taught anymore, and if it is it starts at Viet Nam and blames America for everything...

Columbus is a slaver and whoremonger, Washington and Lincoln are villified and all True Blue American Institutions such as the Boy Scouts of America and all the Armed Forces are being forced to accept homo-sexuals and women, who while very nice and all, they just don't have a place in my US Navy, women I mean!!!

On a lighter note, have you been watching the Soprano's and if yes, do you think the Spetznaz operator "Paulie Walnuts" failed to kill last season is going to come back and kill him and Chris this year?

Well, i cannot claim to have a strong penchant for the Sopranos (due to time constraints) and thus i cannot answer that question. However based on what i know about the Spetsnaz forces (especially the ultra spetsgruppa al'fa) the Spetsnaz operator Paulie Walnuts failed to kill is definitely going to come back and seriously mess up Paulie boy's natural life span in a seriously detrimental way. That is if the show tries to be 'realistic.'

After all the real Spetsnaz are typically ruthless in action. For example in 1985 some PLO terrorists (then based in Lebanon) kidnapped several Soviet officials and held them hostage in the Soviet embassy in Beirut. The terrorists were given 48 hours to let the Soviet officials go, but they answered it by letting the deadline expire and then killing one of the officials.

That was when the Spetsnaz were sent in (the particular group was the spetsgruppa al'fa) and they immediately kidnapped several of the terrorists, together with several family members (of the terrorists). Then they cut of the heads of the captured terrorists, together with the heads of their family members, put them in a duffel bag, and sent them to the chief terrorist with a promise of further unrestarined action! The hostages were promptly released.

The Spetsnaz are primarily ruthlessly efficient (in Soviet times they used to practice their 'systema' combat techniques on prisoners in the Soviet Gulags since they could practice the techniques on real moving human bodies at full force with no fear of punishment).

Anyway, pitting Paulie Walnuts against a Spetsnaz operator, and Paulie failing to kill him the first opportunity he had, means that the Spetsnaz guy is gonna come after Paulie and make him swallow his b@!!$.

End of story!

P.S: Nowadays most of the Spetsnaz (spetsialnoye nazranie) units have fallen into problems due to the problems afflicting Russian military spending, however several Spetsnaz groups (the best) have been maintained at perfect fighting ability, and one of these super-spetsnaz groups is the Spetsgruppa Al'fa. (One of the reasons that Islamic groups never mess with Russia, and those that do ...like the Chechnyans separatists.....never push the envelop too far. For example when they planted a 'dirty bomb' device at Grozky park they immediately allerted the authorities to ensure they defused the bomb before it detonated! Obviously they knew that exploding any type of radioactive device in Moscow would have made the Russians immediately send nukes at the perpetrators ...and i doubt Russia would have bothered asking the UN for 'assistance.' )

I am ex-US Navy and NOT, repeat NOT, a SEAL, I was an OS!

But I love reading about the SEALS and the SPETSNAZ...

I heard about a horror, but I didn't put two and two together.

Those Russkies are totally evil (me USA, I believe) , but what the fuck, they didn't taste anymore raids!!

I don't think I could do that, but in War you can't be weak...

if a bud came back and he was cut up, I would authorize full-fledged knife OPS!!!

Do you know what ...i think i am like you. There are some things i would find a little hard to do (eg kidnapping the families of people and lobing off their heads). However......

I guess the prevailing factor here is sometimes the only message these terrorists are going to hear is a very simple very violent statement. It seemed to work for Russia (after that '85 incident the PLO, or any Arab terrorist group, never messed with them again to this day). It may have been exceedingly violent, and morally questionable, but it worked! Soviet officials could basically walk in Beirut streets as if they owned the darn place!

I wonder what would happen if we used 'gehenna' tactics against those crazy Islamist jehadis! For example (since we were talkign about the Sopranos some time ago) what if we were to employ the stratagems depicted in the movie SwordFish? Just in case you have not watched the movie its basic essence is this group that acquires funds (through rather nefarious means) and plans to organize itself into an elite 'hunter-killer' unit that hunts down terrorists that attack the USA! However there methods are novell! What they do is they use the terrorists own techniques against him! Bomb a US base they bomb several residential blocks in the Mid East and so on!

What if such actions were taken? Obviously the international community would rant and rave, but something tells me that if we were serious about it and raised the ante whenever the terrorists got another message from 'allah' things would become better (maybe?)!

After all the 1985 Spetsnaz solution made the Soviets (and the Russians now) hands off to Arab terrorist organizations! Think of it ....if you are the average Islamic jehadi you are prepared to die and become a 'matyr' (which is why they can strap semtex to their bodies and blow themselves up). However would they be willing to see their family members kidnapped and their heads been sent the next morn? I really doubt that!

Horrible and definitely sinful ....but nonetheless effective!

Should we (or even could we) do it! Chances are no! However in another dimension if it was applied i think it would work perfectly (even though i personally would not advocate hunting down peoples families and chopping them up for no fault of their own apart from giving birth to kooks .....however it would work nonetheless).

I did see "Swordfish," hello from Groucho, and while I understood the aim...

Why did they have to kill Americans to save Americans, that was the flaw...

They should have raided Germany...

poor old dumb fuck America...

still trying to save everyone, when no one can be saved!!!

Do you want any Knick's Tickets, I work at MSG!!!
