  We are forwarding this urgent message that has just come to us for those of you who are watching and praying over the situation in Indonesia.

  Tonight it is thought that Jihad terrorists may storm the 'Christian heartbeat' of Central Sulawesi, the refugee enclave of Tentena.  

  SMS messages received at 7.00p.m. (Indonesian time) from local sources report...  

  "Intelligence reports intercepted warn that Tentena may be attacked by Jihad tonight. Tomorrow is Indonesian [independance] day and Jihad plan 2 celebrate it in Tentena. Urgent prayer needed."  

  A few hours earlier the message received was as follows...  

  "Since yesterday 5 more villages destroyed. Several shot dead. Child strang led. Military overrun. Jihad with fully automatic weapons. Jihad = State  enemy. Must be stopped. Situation v.urgent"  

  END OF MESSAGE  

  Similar SOS's were being sent late last year. People prayed. The Indonesian government sent in troops. Calm was restored. WE NEED A REPEAT OF THAT MIRACLE. Furthermore, jihad forces that inflict terror must be removed.  

  The local people of Central Sulawesi implore your prayers and advocacy.  

  The Australian Government has been told of this critical situation. I trust our American and English friends can pursue this during your work day (Fri  day).

THESE PRECIOUS FOLK HAVE SUFFERED A LOT IN THAT AREA OF THE GLOBE. PRAYER MOVES THE HAND OF GOD. THEY HAVE NO OTHER VIABLE HOPE. The forces of pressure on the government and in the spirit realm are enormous toward obliterating Christians in Indonesia. Prayer is essential.

As the story of the Mexican Dr illustrated [His attackers saw 26 huge guards around the Dr's camp in the jungle through the night. Telling this story later in an American church it was discovered that 26 men had been led of The Lord to pray for the Dr AT THAT TIME.] . . . as that story illustrates, the prayers of a righteous person avail much, as The Scriptures say. Let us apply our selves in behalf of these precious lives

Laskar Jihad is the main muslim extremist group in Indonesia. They do much of the maiming and killing and destroying of homes and driving Christians into the woods. This has been going on for a LONG time and it NEVER makes the news over here, which is an absolutely travesty. With regard to Al Qaeda, this google search seems to indicate that there's plenty of Al Qaeda activity in Indonesia.

We who acknowledge you ask that you show yourself powerful on behalf of the Christians in Indonesia. Protect them, dear Lord. Give them wisdom and knowledge to know what to do. Put a hedge of protection around them, we pray.

We pray also, Lord, that the evil false religion of Islam be destroyed utterly. Islam raises itself up against your Word and worships a pretender to your throne, Allah; Islam rejects your son, Jesus, and tries to destroy your children and the apple of your eye, the Jewish people. Put to shame these infidels; let them turn on each other and fight only among themselves. Please put them to shame who rise against you.
