Glad to hear that! My dad has had kidney stones twice and he almost never drinks beer (or water). That's all the evidence I need.

Not to mention all the estrogen and progesterone being flushed into the water supply. Women on the abortifacient ("contraceptive") Pill should not be allowed to use toilet facilities connected to the the public sewers.

It's all an urban legend? LOL! I love it. I have to tell my officemate who guzzles water all day.

Does anybody out there in FreeperLand know how free of various chemicals your average bottled water is? For example, is there usually flouride in it? How about all the birth control hormones and pesticides? Any thoughts appreciated.

It was only a matter of time before the dangers of Dihydrogen Oxide were discovered. Clearly, we need more government oversite, and perhaps even laws declaring Dihydrogen Oxide a controlled substance.I've got to find a lawyer that will start a class action suit because that DO stuff (whatever that is) must be killing me.

Whew!....Finally....I'm free of guilt. Hate water. Never drink it unless forced to. Never have. Healthy as a horse.

No thanks. I prefer wine.

I have found that vodka looks just like water, and drinking 8 8oz glasses of it a day can be quite fun.

Seriously, I drink about 4 liters of water each day. I have had kidney stones in the past, with pain I would not wish on anyone... I never met a urinal I couldn't pass. :)LOL! I don't know, but it seems to me passing a urinal would be more painfull that passing kidney stones.;^)

Dihydrogen oxide is used in the manufacture of methamphetamine, crack cocaine, and in the cultivation of the demon weed marijuana. In fact, some pot smokers claim that filtering reefer smoke through dihydrogen oxide will give them a better 'high'.
Ban it, for the children's sake.

Thank God for this article, and thanks for posting it! I despise water. I force myself to have a glass or two a day just for the supposed "health" benefit--but sure as heck never eight! I prefer Pepsi. :)
While I'm on that subject...Pepsi Twist (the new variation they put out that has a strong lemon flavor) is nasty. Way too strong and artificial-tasting. I don't care if Austin Powers is promoting it.

I found this on Google. Pretty interesting.
One of South Africa's greatest
ultramarathon runners, Jackie Mekler, told me that in the early
1950s, he ran a 100 mile race where he took his frist drink at 70
miles! When he ran the Comrades Marathon, the general practice
was to run to 20 miles before one took one's first drink. The
2nd drink was at 40 miles and that would then be expected to takeyou
through to the finish. Despite these catastrophic low rates of
fluid intake, there is really little evidence to suggest that the
health of these runners was any more endangered than is the health of
modern runners.

You could be on to something. Dihydrogen Oxide is likely the most dangerous chemical known to man. More people die per year from acute overexposure than any other chemical. Also, there is a 100% correlation between the consumption of Dihydrogen Oxide and all deaths, from all causes. There is no known case of any death where there was not recent Dihydrogen Oxide consumption.
(Note: inhalation of this dangerous substance is always fatal.)
