This is, in short, not simply a matter of semantics. It is a question of whether our top law enforcement agency -- and, for that matter, the Bush Administration more generally -- comprehend the true character of the threat posed by Islamist terrorism.

I'll admit that I've not read the whole article....but this one jumped out at me. I HAVE thought about this whole issue since it happened, and I wonder....IF the Administration SAID it was terrorism, would there possibly be vigilante type violence, leading to more violence, leading to who knows what? Just a thought.

I'm not necessarily AGAINST the old fashioned way of doing things.....just wondering, I am.
