The presidential order, an expansion of a previous presidential finding designed to oust Saddam, directs the CIA to use all available tools...

Well I had heard rumors that the reason that Saddam did not make a big deal with an outdoors birthday party a couple of months ago, I believe he turned 65, was that he was worried that we had him targeted with a Predator drone plane and would blast him to smithereens with its Hellfire Missle. Gee maybe he was right?BWAHAHAHAHAHA. Well good for GW and I hope they manage to topple him without a huge war at great cost in the lives of American men and women.

...The link is a good idea.

...But, to the point, let congress make it the "rule of law". Declare war. No more executive orders. Then unlash what GWB has within his powers to defend the Constitution and protect the USA...

I'm glad were keeping this a secret. We wouldn't wand Saddam to find out about it.

Yep, for real. The article reminds me of the old routine that ends with: "Good thing we don't step in it, huh?"

I'm glad were keeping this a secret. We wouldn't wand Saddam to find out about it.

This just about tops The Los Angeles Times reporting the location, physical description
and number, and vehicle driven by some of our "covert" operatives in Afghanistan
early in the conflict last fall.
(Thanks for protecting my "right to know", LA Times Traitors!)

The real problem is that Sadaam is usually ahead of the curve. The PBS FronLine episode
titled "Gunning for Sadaam" that aired last November recounted how Clinton tried to
engineer an overthrow of Sadaam by courting some of the Iraqui generals...giving them
cell-phones to make quick, direct connection to Washington, D.C.

Sadaam used his radar-like sensors, had the generals killed and one of his agents
phoned (with one of the general's cell phone) "Your people are dead. Go home."

Funny, but I can't remember ever hearing a whisper in the press about this failed operation.
I guess I must be one of those Clinton-haters; Clinton would never be less than
100% open with the American public, would he? (end sarcasm)

If Sadaam is overthrown before the end of Dubya's first term (and a reasonable new
regime founded), I'll be happy and freaked out at the same time.

Stupid Question: Would this stuff leak out if W didn't want it to? Are things really that bad?

Like Dad always said..."If you're gona be that dumb, you'd better be tough".
