WASHINGTON, July 12, 2007 – Afghan National Army Corps and coalition forces killed 11 Taliban fighters today in a five-hour firefight near the village of Sarsina, in Oruzgan province, Afghanistan. Insurgents hiding in a tree line and a compound fired at the combined patrol with small arms and rocket-propelled grenades.
