When the hordes of Afghanistan
Will crash your gleaming airplanes
Into the shiny towers of Manhattan."

Can someone verify whether this is authentic? I did some initial research and this is certainly something that this group would have looked forward to. Their writings are the supposed result of an "automatic writing" technique.

The Dadaists and Surrealists certainly were interested in automatic writing, but I confess that I've never heard of this quote.

Why wasn't president Bush informed about this??? He should have had our entire aviation industry grounded, just in case . . .

If he did write this, it might be a coincidence brought on by the buzzing of the earth by a starship propelled by an Infinite Improbability Drive.

Well, it was Saudi's and Egyptians for the most part so they have that wrong. Does anyone remember if there was even one Afghan in the group?

Plus no date given so if that was suppose to be a warning it was a pretty rotten one.

I'm sure Coolidge would have warned us if he'd connected the dots. (Did they have dots back then?)

This confirms their involvement with Satan and the demons. Automatic writing is one of Satan's tools used to deceive people.

was even one Afghan in the group?

I don't think there were any ethnic Afghans, however that is where the main training camps were (past tense yea!), so they did come out of Afghanistan in a way.

Actually, I think it was first predicted by Nostradamus.

FWIW, it's quoted here -- sixth paragraph.

You can't trust anything that comes out of the University of Santa Cruz. In the early 80's a grand jury indicted several students and faculty for election fraud. The students, encouraged by their profs, registered non-resident students in the local Mayoral election and had them all vote for the socialist candidate.

Several were found guilty and the election invalidated. The students refused to admit that they had done anything wrong. None of the faculty were punished by the University.

This is a university that did away with such fascists concepts as "grades" and adopted the banana slug as its mascot.

This guy predicted everything from what I read on the net. Don't quote me on this, but I believe that its claimed he even predicted his own birth. ;)
