Just heard on FOXNEWS that the FBI had brought here (diliberatly) 93 Middle Eastern men for some sort of undercover operation called "Operation Seek and Keep". It was supposed to be an operation that watched these men carefully in hopes they could track terrorists )I think). Haven't heard much more on this. Any and all info would very much be welcome. Thanks

How could they loose people from Saudi Arabia, Syria, Sudan, Afghanistan, ect., when they know we are on alert because of them? We now have, thanks to the FBI, 93 potentual suicide bombist out there somewhere!

They were trying to figure out who was behind an illegal immigrant smuggling ring, supposedly.

Yep - it was the INS that was running the sting, NOT the FBI. Part of that lack of communication thing that started way back in the Vietnam era where government agencies were blocked from communicating with one another and sharing information. The INS was particularly good at not letting other law enforcement agencies know what it was doing.

I'm just repeating (trying) what Shep kept saying. He said the FBI, I also heard the INS mentioned. But there are 93 Middle Eastern fellows lost in America somewhere and someone, INS, FBI,CIA, hell, call out the Militia, had better find them before all hell breaks loose on some innocent folk.

My husband works with rail-roaders, they are on very high alert right now. We try to go about our business as normal as posible, try not to get too stressed, but we all keep our eyes peeled for anything out of the usual here. By the way, great map!

I find it hard to believe the ins has the authority to do something like this. Surely they got the go ahead somewhere, especially after the criticism they've taken lately.

I was watching Donald Rumsfeld today, this man rarely gets ruffled about anything (cool as ice) but he seemed a little tense and rattled talking about the certainty that we have terrorists here in America, did anyone else watch him? He seems pretty sure that we will be attacked again. It just may be me and my nerves but in all my years (won't say how many) I have never seen our government behave this way about our security.

If they have been in America for a decade, then maybe they have enjoyed our country so much that they would not do anything to get themselves deported or killed. Just look what they'd have to go back to.
