Israel Radio reported at 7:00 PM that Saudi officials say the Saudis have massed 8 brigades on their border with Jordan in response to intelligence reports that Israel has massed forces along the length of its border with Jordan.
Israel Radio further reports that a military spokesman in Israel denies the information.

Your insight was uncanny. For years I thought I did suffer from PPE. When Ronald Reagan was President I was envious of the man. Here was this postive individual who called 'em like he saw 'em. He exhuded confidence and single handedly brought down the Iron Curtain. It was his will alone that pulled the rug out from under the most prominant communist nation on the planet.
I do give Reagan what seems like incredible credit for this, because he had to fight every single Democrat, many Republicans, the media and most world leaders. Damn the torpedoes, it was full speed ahead for Ronald Reagan. He was never afraid to express his opinion, even if it was to call a nation "the Evil Empire."
Incredibly, since that time I've been cured of PPE, or more accurately rediagnosed. First misdiagnosed as PPE, I later found out that it was an accute case of admiration. I had actually suffered from AAS all along, that's Accute Admiration Syndrome. The beauty of this was that it was self-correcting. As soon as Ronald Reagan left office I noticed a marked improvement. By the time Clinton took office I was cured. And today I've been AAS free since 1991.
What you attempted to diagnos as PPE, isn't even close to being AAS Grandpa Dave, although the similarities are there. Today I suffer from Excellerated Pretender Recognition. EPR is a very painful affliction. Those afflicted with this disease are forced to watch as waffling buffoons first state one thing, then do completely opposite things. For instance they'll make statements like, "This is a War on Terroism. It's global in scope. Those who are not with us are against us." Then they'll be asked if one of two most prominant terrorists on the face of the planet is actually a terrorist or not, and they'll go speachless. The problem for sufferers of EPR is that they have an accute perception of wafflers. Symptoms can include an accute perception of malaise, the understanding that ideals which were supported months or years ago have been abandoned, and the realization that public figures and their followers have fallen into what seems to be a state of zombiism. They don't even remember what core values they held as little as eighteen months in the past.
Yep, this has been a sore affliction. I'm taking in large doses of information to try and correct this problem. And my doctor has even prescribed plenty of information disbursement as a remedy. He states that if I and others who suffer from my affliction can network with people who used to be conservatives, we may just be able to develop a cure on our own. Who knows, he could be right. But then we've run into a massive presence of self-denial in America. The outcome is iffy. Until people are willing to admit there is a problem, the cure will be illusionary.
As for Pat, get over it Grandpa Dave. You'll just have to learn to console yourself that his call to fix immigration was ignored until after 09/11.
