The Berlin police has advised Jews in the city not to wear any garments that identify them as Jews for fear this may expose them to attacks by Arab youths, Army Radio reported Tuesday. Police specifically advised against the wearing of skullcaps and the Star of David.
The warning comes in the wake of a attacks on Jews and Jewish sites in Germany in recent weeks, and the rising wave of anti-Semitic attacks in Europe in recent months, against the backdrop of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
"This is a blow to freedom of religion, but the police cannot protect every single Jew," Army Radio quoted Berlin police spokesman Lars Zunman as saying.

"This is a blow to freedom of religion, but the police cannot protect every single Jew," Army Radio quoted Berlin police spokesman Lars Zunman as saying. Well, for starters, one could consider allowing Jews to protect themselves...

interestingly the jews and arabs are probably voting for the same people in Germany. I think a realignment might be coming fast.

Christ, how many times do we have to beat the crap out of Germany before they get the message?

Rather, the police should broadcast loud and clear that anyone wearing a skullcap or Star of David may carry a concealed weapon of their choosing. THAT would stop the Islamopsychos.

OTOH, the German police have NO problem with roving gangs of Keffiya wearing arab punks with knives and clubs under their coats.
(But will they pray to a glowing crater?)

This is the first degree of terrorism.
My daughter, who spent a year in Germany as an exchange student, tells me(as she reads this article and sighs a sad sigh) " the arabs are everywhere (in Germany)".
"Deport them" I say. "If they can't live within the confines of the law - then deport them.
She then looks at me as if to say 'It's so much bigger than that'.
I tell her it's a start.

(But will they pray to a glowing crater?) The sooner it is a glowing crater the better. "Oi, you blokes, if Allah is so bloody great, how come you can't worship at his shrine without getting radiation poisoning?" ;)
I am disgusted the German police are saying, basically, that they can't or won't do their job. Unacceptable.

I knew you'd see this one, Matt. How about some props? ;)

I disagree with that prescription - not that it wouldn't be useful, but it may only slow down the islamicpsychos.
How about a punishment that would really make them think twice. If they get caught assaulting someone: Castration. Let them go to their 72 virgins without the ammunition.

Ha'aretz just added this to the article. They were floating it in headlines before:
The head of Habad in Berlin, Rabbi Yehuda Teichler, said he was "shocked" by the police recommendation, but that he did not plan to heed it and to hide the fact that he was Jewish.
The director of the Yad Vashem Holocaust Memorial Museum, Avner Shalev, described the recommendation as offensive, and said it indicated a lack of will on the part of the Berlin police to confront anti-Semitism.
