the argument is that illegals come here for the food stamps so end the food stamps at least for illegals

The entire food stamp program with all the welfare programs should go --but without jobs, you'll never get people off welfare ---and with all the illegals taking the jobs, there aren't enough low-skilled jobs for those on welfare to get off.

#92: Unfortunately, not only do the loony libertarians cry for open borders but the Pubbie/neocon faction of the GOP is equally as bad.

Add to the above the socialists desguised as Democrats and I hold no hope for America's future...

I'm about to take the advice of the late Dr. Timothy Leary, and "...drop out" from all political activism.

It's all over my friend.

#94: "No, the argument is that illegals come here for the food stamps so end the food stamps at least for illegals (I prefer for everyone)."

Do you actually see the political will from any elected official to do this?

It won't happen, and it's unrealistic to believe it will.

On the other hand, the momentum to close our borders has never been greater (unfortunately, it took 3,000 deaths).

Let's stop illegal immigration NOW, and work on the other pieces of the socialist mess America is in in the future.

New York State has the pleasure of supporting numerous illegal groups.

It's especially enjoyable to go to the supermarket and be preceded in the checkout by three ugly fat broads dressed in black shrouds head-to-toe, put down their expensive leather purses and cell phones to get to the food stamps.

NY the "WELFARE STATE".

Just imagine the kinds of cars or homes an individual with an extra $441.67 or a family with an extra $883.34, per month, could afford. Imagine the retirement plans, college funds for the kids, vacations, etc. we could afford

To cut to the chase, imagine how many more children a family could afford without ruinous taxation? When a family has to surrender 50% of its income to pay the tax bill, children are avoided or aborted. Meanwhile, the taxes are disbursed to subsidize illegals having their "anchor" babies.

The truth is that the elites have always hated a strong middle class. They much prefer a huge "underclass" that they can control through handouts, fear, and social and racial turmoil.
