Almost a dozen Republican lawmakers trekked up to New York City on Thursday to support former President Donald Trump as he faces charges of falsifying business records years ago, brought by a Democrat district attorney in the midst of the 2024 presidential election.
The lawmakers included Reps. Andy Biggs (AZ), Lauren Boebert (CO), Michael Cloud (TX), Eli Crane (AZ), Matt Gaetz (FL), Bob Good (VA), Diana Harshbarger (TN), Anna Paulina Luna (FL), Ralph Norman (SC), Andy Ogles (TN), and Mike Waltz (FL).

Yep! And you know what was the wake up call? 100,000 people at his rally. All of a sudden they’re coming out of the woodwork to support Trump at the courthouse. Surprising?…absolutely not that is our spineless Republicans. Though I gotta give them kudos they did show up.
.
Only when the tide turned in Trump's favor did they show up.
Better late than never but wanted to point that out.
👍💯

A whole lot of lawfare has been going on, for quite some time.
Did they line up to kiss the ring?
There's a better than even chance that most, if not all, of those jurors would not even recognize any of the members of Congress.
By the way, a congressional delegation also attended court in support of President Trump on Tuesday. That group included the Speaker of the House.
Absolutely not. Ending this asap and proving the injustice is what they are striving for. You think Trump would rather be tied to a bench in a court house day after day for months?
They should have been doing this a long time ago!
I was banned years ago. It’s nice that you had a link to share, though.
I’ve been calling my congressman asking why he’s not there. He emailed and said he’s “monitoring the situation.”
I like him. I’ve met him. A late friend used to rent a room from him. But I’m losing respect.
I think this trial has shown (along with much else) a lot of Americans, especially those near the middle, of the absolute corruption of the Democrat run justice system. That's a good lesson that Trump's trial is teaching them.
Vivek said they are trying to bore him and the jury into submission.
