Senator Chris Murphy (D-CT) said Sunday on CNN’s “State of the Union” that President Joe Biden was “squarely where the middle of the country is” on the Israel-Hamas war.
Anchor Dana Bash said, “Do you think that when the president said what he said to Erin Burnett this week that what ended up happening is he tried to, I don’t want to take away from what he tried to do on policy, but just on the politics that it ended up kind of pleasing no one. Is that a potential problem, or do you think that is what he said and did is helpful for his detractors on the left?”

Playing the middle is precisely how world wars get started; if not world wars, regional and very deadly wars for all involved.

Sadly, I do not believe that was an unintended consequence of a typical feel-good left-wing initiative. I believe that is exactly what the Blessed Obama intended.

Obama’s birth certificate issue is not over. He was challenged years ago by none other than Donald Trump to produce a birth certificate to prove he was eligible to be president.
The document that Obama produced is a proven fake, and the issue has never been settled.
If Trump can prove that Obama was NOT eligible to be president, then nothing Obama did as president was legal. Every Executive Order he issued and all legislation he signed is, by law, null and void.
And the people who knew of this and assisted Obama to become president will be tried for treason.
Won’t happen, but that would be true justice.

During the Holocaust probably more than half of Germany supported Hitler's policy toward Jews - but how many truly knew what was happening? If the German media had reported what was happening at Auschwitz and the other camps there likely would have been significant push-back by the German populace.
As a relevant example of the effects of what the media chooses to report, if you and the rest of your colleagues would push for the release of what actually happened on October 7th, with the killing, rapes, beheading babies, etc., public opinion would clearly favor Israel seeking to eradicate Hamas. That, however, would require you to deal with the potential loss of a voting block. For you and too many in elected office, the moral position is that position which gets you reelected.
Murphy another living demonstration as to why the 17th Amendment should be repealed! I do doubt the Connecticut legislature could pick someone better, but at least it would be a different fool!
