Donald Trump on Saturday shot down a report that Nikki Haley, his bitter presidential primary rival, has vaulted into “active consideration” to become his running mate.
“Nikki Haley is not under consideration for the V.P. slot, but I wish her well!” Trump wrote on Truth Social, signing the post “DJT.”

I suspect there are a few on FR who are still fantasizing about Trump dying, disabled, quitting, or jailed. Since DeSantis seems to be on good terms with Trump, they might still hold on to the notion of Haley as their leader.

I really wish Trump selects Tulsi Gabbard for a unity ticket. I don’t like her politics, however I like the fact she is a veteran and as a young VP selection, her energy and potential to do something from the VP role is acceptable. Pence was a conservative and he did squat, meaning the VP role is actually a gift back to the establishment.
I still want Jennifer Ruth Green from Indiana to be Trump’s VP.
