Is anyone surprised that Joe Biden is caving? It’s what he does. In a disgracefully craven move, President Biden has paused weapons shipments to Israel to try to prevent the Jewish state from launching a full-scale offensive against the remaining Hamas military stronghold in Rafah.
It’s a policy shift sheathed in high-minded concern about the safety of civilians in Gaza but happens to be a change in direction that is welcome to a political left that has whipped itself into an anti-Israel frenzy in the months since the Oct. 7 attack.
Not too long ago, Biden was averring that Hamas had to be destroyed and that our commitment to Israel was “ironclad.” That was before the war — waged in a high-density urban environment against an adversary that hides among civilians — created an international backlash and a political revolt among progressives braying “Genocide.”

The Left has known throughout Biden’s career how to easily push him their way.
IMHO, nations like Israel depend on the US war industrial base.
Unfortunately for them, that makes US politicians have influence over them.
Some of these weapon systems are complex and a small nation of 9,000,000 people can’t realistically afford or have the broad tech and industrial capabilities to build all of these things.
Think of it like this, Israel is like the state of New Jersey, that’s it. Would that state if it’s own nation really have the ability to build all these different and complex weapons systems, in mass?
Israel does well, and they have a big domestic military industrial base given their size, but they are largely dependent on us.
FYI- By withholding weapons from Israel we are violating an agreement with them. Once again we just do whatever we want because there is no one to hold us accountable, no real near peer competitor. And because the MSM is pro-Democrat, they don’t roast him in this issue.

Israel has the most advanced defensive apparatus security system in the world. How goat-humping Muslims managed to invade the country on 10/07 on cheap paragliders, I don't know, but I have my thoughts.

What the Hell are you drinking and smoking? Israel is arguably the world's leader in water desalinization and on the cutting edge of healthcare procedures and emergency trauma. If they can do these things, surrounded by Muslims and confined to a state the size of NJ, they can build their own weaponry.

Good for them. I'm all for Israel defending itself, usually against those mean-old innocent Palestinian women and children that they gun down randomly and then blame on Hamas, but they have a right to defend themselves nevertheless.

It’s Friday and nothing was mean or incorrect.
China has been playing the long game and they love it when America makes dumb moves that benefit them.
Anyone who has read The Art of War should understand much of the philosophy of China. Should America keep making dumb decisions China will be content. As it is I consider us the economic vassal state of China.
