Reagan Gray, 26, is accused of sexually abusing a 15 year old boy and sending him naked photos 'on a daily basis' - the abuse started in the autumn of 2020 at Immanuel Baptist Church in Little Rock.
A 26 year-old teacher has been accused of sexually abusing a 15-year-old boy and inundating him with explicit images.
The accused, Reagan Gray, who was a volunteer at one of Arkansas' largest churches, claimed she limited their sexual activity to oral interactions so he could "stay pure".
It is alleged that Gray, working from Immanuel Baptist Church in Little Rock, initiated the abuse in fall 2020 and would routinely send explicit images to the boy. Upon discovering inappropriate texts on the boy's phone, his parents intervened, resulting in Gray being briefly referred for counseling by the church.

Solicitation and/or transfer of obscene material to a minor through the internet or telecommunications has been a Federal crime since 2001 or so. State Attorneys General are limited in subpoena power for carrier data across state lines.

My question is why is/was the FBI involved in this? Did she/he commit a federal crime?

My husband and I did also. We attended rallies in Newport Beach when he ran - really liked his wife, Mary. Sat with her one time just drinking coffee and visiting. Events were long ago but I think they lived on Spyglass Hill (?) and their home was picketed by protesters for something John got himself into? Seems if the ADL or some Jewish organization was on his case for something.

And contrary to what some may think is hard, getting warrant is rather easy no matter where you are.
In law enforcement when I doubt get a warrant.
Carriers, the target of an investigation, etc can fight a subpoena, but if they lose the hearing that I have to produce, usually that day.
Carriers, suspect, etc etc cannot fight a warrant. If they try to obstruct they can get charged with Obstruction. They can fight over what was taken in a Suppression Hearing. Perfect example of they served a warrant on Mar A Lago and not produce a subpoena.
