Kristi Noem, the governor of South Dakota whose chance of being Donald Trump’s presidential running mate was widely deemed over after she published a description of shooting dead a dog and a goat, claimed reports of the story were “fake news” but also that the dog in question, Cricket, a 14-month-old wirehaired pointer, was “extremely dangerous” and deserved her fate.
“You know how the fake news works,” Noem told Fox News. “They leave out some or most of the facts of a story, they put the worst spin on it. And that’s what’s happened in this case.

If the dog was killing the neighbors chickens then she had the responsibility to shot the dog. We warned our neighbors that their dog was running our cattle, which could result in them breaking their legs in a groundhog den or such.
Then when it happened again our dad took out his rifle and shot it dead then told them it was put on the roadside outside the fencing.

I think they are attacking her because of fear. Look at the Biden Administration, the Marxist State Media, the Deep State, the Educational Institutions and the Uni-Party .... what if people applied the “put them down” solution to the hundreds of thousands of “less than worthless” employees of those institutions.
Right. In horse country, farm and ranch country, dogs that attack livestock are shot. Period.
You take it to the vet. The vet either agrees with you and puts it down humanely or takes it off your hands. You don’t take it to “the gravel pit in a fit of anger and shoot it.” She is a horrible person.
The dog was not dangerous. Noem was too lazy to properly train it.

Agreed. This girl is from a farming/ranching background in a rural state. Many folks with such a background think nothing of killing a dangerous animal. I suspect that was her thinking when she made the comments, and now she’s paying for it.
With regards to her being a possible VP, I’m not in her favor there as I do not think she has the stamina to perpetually talk back to the left like Trump does.
I wish her the best, but she needs to keep such subjects quiet, as in shoot, shovel and shut up.
