Lauren Boebert: ‘It Makes No Difference’ if Mike Johnson or Hakeem Jeffries Is Speaker
Breitbart ^ | 30 Apr 2024 | PAM KEY

Representative Lauren Boebert (R-CO) said Tuesday on CNN’s “The Lead” that there is no difference if House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) or Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) has the top spot.

Host Jake Tapper said, “House Democratic leaders took an unusual step today. They announced that if needed, they would save the speakership of Mike Johnson, the very conservative Louisiana Republican if individuals like Marjorie Taylor Greene and others tried to oust him. How are lawmakers responding to that?

On the steps of the Capitol, congressional correspondent Manu Raju said, “Yeah, it’s mixed views here, Jake. I mean, we do expect a wide number of lawmakers are probably overwhelmingly to vote to kill that effort oust Mike Johnson. This is much different than what happened in that historic and unprecedented ouster of Kevin McCarthy last fall when all Democrats voted to kick out Kevin McCarthy along with eight Republicans. This time we expect an overwhelming number of Democrats to save Mike Johnson.”

Boebert said, “We are passing the Democrat agenda each and every day that we’re here. We have a slim majority in the House and everything’s being passed overwhelmingly with Democrat support. So, it makes no difference to me if it’s Hakeem Jeffries as speaker or Mike Johnson right now.”

Any “Republican” that speaks with CNN, MSNBC or the MSM, IMHO, demonstrates that they’re not “Republicans” in the way that most of(I’m assuming) wishes they were.

Nothing but actors/actresses trying to dupe the people and make money.

A Speaker that refuses to do what is necessary to reigning an FBI and DOJ that have become the equivalent of the KGB and Soviet justice system and refuses to do everything necessary to secure are borders is complicit in the corrupt of our government and useless in the battle to save this country.

And we are in battle to save the country and you want us to accept bones with no meat on them from the GOP establishment.

We either have a party, not just a President, that represents the people or state secession or civil war will end up being the only options.

You're either a Republican operative with your hand in the sand or woefully fail to grasp the urgency of the hour.

While a Speaker has his or her role. But it committe chairs and individual members who should be advancing bills to curb the CIA, FBI or any other alphabet soup agency. Where are this bills from those members? Comey, Jordan, Boebet, MTG? They can find time for the camera. They can’t find time to introduce a needed bill?

The problem is with Washington, D.C., not Russia. Everything you have cited is supported and pushed by members of both sides of the aisle in Congress, and the main stream media. Putin is only taking advantage of the horrible situation in this country, and weak European countries. He’d be stupid if he didn’t.

Mike Johnson is playing O’brien in this play, Goldstein is being played by DJT.

Not to worry. Democrats keep over performing their elections while republicans sit out. Probably not pure enough. So November will be ugly. But talk about head in the sand. lol.

I nor any Trump Republican have any intention of sitting out. We will crawl through glass to vote for MAGA candidates.

The only way this country can be saved, however, is thin out the herd of establishment Republicans, who only care about enriching themselves and couldn't give a damn about its base.

And that will result in 30 house members and 10 senators. It’s going to take time to build a MAGA majority. But in the meantime, it’s not prudent to let the democrats have the majority. I know many of you want the democrats in majority to show the RINOs who’s boss. But at what cost?
