You are going to hear nonstop how important it is to “clear the decks” for Trump over the next several months. The drumbeat is getting louder & w/out any real legislating to do, it is the #1 priority of the leadership class. The DC cartel wants to finalize an entire spending cycle just before Trump re-enters office with a massive omnibus right after the election. They will also include all manner of poison pills to the new admin to block his agenda. The cavalry must be given the time to arrive. This will be a central fight over the next few months and at every turn, just remember: clear the decks means screw Trump.
