He’s gone. Gave a long speech. He’s still young for someone done with politics!

“Humza Yousaf, of Highlander heritage...”

A good Scottish name. I bet he wows the lassies when he wears his Kilt and plays the pipes.

Perhaps he can return to his father's homeland and enjoy the changing of the guard at the Indo-Pak border. He can do the 'highland fling' at the border, with these high steppin' fellows.

Most likely.

I’ve seen the ‘changing of the guard’ on video.
Though it is a show for tourists, these guys take it VERY seriously, each side trying to outdo the other, and intimidate the other.

Tensions still remain quite high on the Indo-Pak border, though not the current fighting that goes on between the Indian Army and the PLA in the disputed territories. Both sides, India and Pakistan, remember the over 1 million killed during the partition of 1947, and the wars of 1965, 1971 and 1999.

Apparently he wasn’t leftist enough...

“The party’s power sharing agreement with the Greens, struck by Ms. Sturgeon in August 2021, allowed the S.N.P. to retain power after it emerged as the biggest party in that year’s election but failed to win an outright majority.

In recent weeks the Greens had become unhappy after the Scottish government retreated from its pledge to cut emissions of greenhouse gases by 75 percent by 2030.

There was also tension between the parties over a decision by the National Health Service in Scotland to pause the prescription of puberty blockers and other hormone treatments for minors. That followed an independent review of gender services in England by Hilary Cass, a pediatrician.”

Humza Yousaf? Whit a nice wee Scottish name.

I wonder if he'll wear a kilt in traditional Yousaf plaid? (/sarcasm)

Going to Scotland tomorrow to live in a castle for a week (picture tour with models). Hopefully I can stay away from the politics.
