They were doomed kids. Fourteen to sixteen years old, already wearing ankle bracelets, stealing a car and fleeing from the cops at 111 mph. If their lives hadn’t wound up like this, they would eventually have brought some other disaster upon themselves, and probably others.
I am very sorry.
But the driver could have taken out any number of innocents driving around at 111.
His passengers quite possibly bear no blame.
Anyway they were stupid kids but the cops needed to stop them.

This is why after 2026 every vehicle sold will have a software kill switch like onstar or lojack that cops can trigger from behind the car just coasts to a stop then. Teens bail out and the K9 units get a fun time chewing up some teens. I love watching On Patrol live when they bail out and the K9 is on them in seconds you cannot out run German Shepherd hellbent on getting a chuck of that a$$. It’s just good TV ha.

Once it penetrates steel barbs come out so it cannot come back out. The cop then jacks his brakes full stop and the cop car drags the vehicles to a stop even at full throttle on the front vehicle. For added LOL the spike is hollow and is hooked up to a tank of CS gas the real stuff with active nerve agent not just respiratory agent in it. You can flood the vehicles interior with it no human can stay inside your instincts take over every one flees then. I saw a live demo of this tech way back when I was a fedlevel LEO it’s impressive tech.

On April 21,2024 tragedy struck our family yet again. Our 17 year old Son Lawrence Jr's life was tragically cut short as he and 3 others lost their life in a car accident.We lost our oldest son exactly one month prior and buried him three weeks ago.
It sounds like the family has only so many kids to give over to criminal behavior.

That is a kind gesture, but, unless there was a gun found, it’s hard to fathom how any of the teens could not have volunteered for the deed.
We had a similar crash in the Philadelphia area a couple of days ago.
