We’re approaching a return to Feudalism (or Serfdom?) where we rely on local warlords for protection from other warlords at the price of our freedom. Meanwhile the “Government of the People, by the People, and for the People” slowly perishes from the Earth.

I, for one, welcome the return of Serfdom. Least, @ that time, the taxation was MUCH lower than the (supposed) “Government of the People, by the People, and for the People” we have today (which def. is NOT Constitutional, but that died ages ago anyway).
