We’re approaching a return to Feudalism (or Serfdom?) where we rely on local warlords for protection from other warlords at the price of our freedom. Meanwhile the “Government of the People, by the People, and for the People” slowly perishes from the Earth.

I, for one, welcome the return of Serfdom. Least, @ that time, the taxation was MUCH lower than the (supposed) “Government of the People, by the People, and for the People” we have today (which def. is NOT Constitutional, but that died ages ago anyway).

The only reason taxes were lower under feudalism is because the serfs had little or no money, Their tax was their labor farming the local noble's land, and serving in his army when he decided to take over the neighboring lord's turf. Think the gangland wars of the ‘20s with swords and arrows instead of guns. And everyone was in the gang whether they wanted to be or not.
