Matt Gaetz now anticipates that Ukraine aid will pass (vote Saturday?)

Just spoke with Matt Gaetz, who just got off the phone with Speaker Johnson. Gaetz said he now anticipates that Ukraine aid will pass — an outcome he has long sought to avoid. He expressed dismay given his influential role in delaying aid thus far. “This was abject surrender."

When asked if he would seek to oust Johnson, Gaetz said he continues to harbor “concerns that a motion to vacate” will result in a Democratic speaker of the House

Regardless money for Ukraine means serious things for me.

No money for Republicans unless its direct to MTG or Thomas Massie or Donald Trump.

Write-ins for US House and or US Senate in upcoming elections like the PA Primary on Tuesday April 23rd.

I anticipate doing the same in the fall.

Mike Johnson seems Hell Bent for Armageddon in Ukraine.

Of course, the same Repukes that voted for the expenditure Bill, and to continue FISA, will vote for this. My first-term GOP Rep. here in central NY voted for all of it. He won’t be getting my vote again in November. I gave him a chance, and he flubbed it. He’s just another loser who will vote with everything the Democrats vote for.

Just as an aside:

“Explosion at BAE’s 155mm artillery shell filling facility, Glascoed, in Wales!

This comes 2 days after there was a small fire at the Scranton Army Ammunition Plant in Pennsylvania, which makes 155mm shell bodies.

BAE tells the Sun that there was an explosion at a remote part of the site, where artillery shells are filled. There are no injuries and all personnel are accounted for.”

I would say this will cost the Rs the November election, but honestly, that’s what they want. A Democrat House will be one more roadblock to Trump’s second term.

Bannon had a guest this morning saying they should tie it to tight border measures, because the Dems won’t go for that and that’ll get the Pubbies off the hook for supposedly not funding Ukraine.

How many negative Johnson threads will we have today.

He went to Trump for advice. Whatever Johnson presents is with Trump's blessing.

Think about it.

Trump was publicly against FISA.

Think about it.

But he knows its usefulness in these days where communication is "in the air".

. FISA or no FISA...if the government wants to spy on Americans without a warrant...they will do it...I think Brennan apologized for such actions.

POSO

SCOOP: Chuck Schumer was just on the Senate floor bragging to other members about Speaker Johnson giving Democrats everything they wanted in the Ukraine and foreign aid packages, per senior Republican official

Mike folded on the budget bill. Folded on FISA and is now folding on Ukraine spending. He never stood up for the border. We are screwed.

Bannon’s guest was delusional.

1. Most Republicans DO NOT want to secure the border.

2. Most Republicans are very much in favor of Ukrainian welfare.
