A federal appeals court on Tuesday overturned the West Virginia law banning transgender girls from playing on girls' sports teams, finding that it violates Title IX, the federal civil rights law that prohibits sex-based discrimination in schools. The ruling comes amid a wave of anti-trans legislation cropping up across the country, as well as efforts to fight back against it.
The ban in West Virginia was originally signed into law by Gov. Jim Justice in 2021, and introduced as the "Save Women's Sports Act." It required that any official or unofficial school-sanctioned event involving athletics determine each athlete's participation in the event "based on the athlete's biological sex as indicated on the athlete's original birth certificate issued at the time of birth," effectively barring transgender students from participating.
The ruling from the 4th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals said the law cannot lawfully be applied to a 13-year-old girl who has been taking puberty-blocking medication and publicly identified as a girl since she was in the third grade.

Clarence Thomas has long been a proponent of “natural law”. Demanding that the world accept a person as a different sex from how he/she/it was born should be a clear violation of natural law. We are how God made us, not how we wish to imagine ourselves.
I’m guessing that Toby Heytens is an Obama pick. IIRC correctly, Obama packed the 4th Circuit during his reign of error.
Women do not have the same drive as men to protect...or hormones that make them more aggressive.
Partly because men are NATURALLY stronger..and partly because women ()girls) would rather have tea parties than say,wrestle.
I’m not sure if those things still do, but if they do, someone needs to do what we do to young bulls out here on the farm in central Kansas that we don’t want to become breeding bulls: put a rubber band around their sack until they become steers. Those steers, btw, become steaks and roasts and hamburger!
Since SCOTUS made a ruling protecting girls in Idaho, I suspect this will be overturned.

Actually, you are correct, have teams, but allow anyone to play. If the girls can’t compete with the boys tough, not matter if they are organic, or altered, I can just see my HS locker room full of boys born in the 1950’s snapping towels and grabbing mammaries of the ladeez. They would not have the testicles, literally, to compete with the young men of my era. They would be used and abused like a D Derby car.
Are there enough trannies to accomplish that? I think the overwhelming majority of male athletes would not even consider competing against females. Am I wrong?
